       Hi, I'm Adderclaw

Hi, I'm Adderclaw. I used to be a warrior in BloodClan, but I left. Boy, was that the day! I am SO happy that I left that Clan in the dust! You see, I did NOT belong there. Like, at all. Scourge and Bone gave me dirty looks and taunted me all the time. I was practically tortured! Oh, you wish to hear about it? It's painful to recall the story, but I'll tell you anyway.

So, it was just past sunhigh when I smelled something weird when I was on patrol by myself. It seems funny to be on a patrol with only one cat, but Scourge and Bone would not stop torturing me. They sent me on this stupid "mission" (as they called it) in hopes I would be found and ripped apart by a fox or a badger or something without any witnesses.

Anyway, the smell was getting stronger. It was not one object, but a blob of objects. Cat sized objects. I crouched low to the forest floor, hiding in the lush, green ferns. Ugh, my stupid brown coat gave everything away.

"Adderclaw," a cat meowed. I knew that friendly voice! It was Jadeheart! I leapt up out of the ferns and greeted her.

"Jadeheart, hello," I purred. I hadn't seen her in like, FUR-ever! Okay, I admit that was bad. Sorry, heheh.

"EEK! You must be Adderclaw! I'm Oakpool! Jadestar would NOT stop talking about you! I think she has a cruuuuuuushhhh," a sleek calico piped up out of nowhere. And I'm pretty sure Jadeheart was blushing under her fur, if that's possible for a cat.

"Wait, Jadestar?" I asked.

"Yes," Jadestar meowed, still bashful. "I'll explain later."

"Wow, that's amazing! Have you gone to the Moonstone yet?"

"No, I'm afraid. But I'll go soon, once I've rounded up the new Clan."

"Cool. Who's going to be in this new Clan?"

Oakpool piped up again. "We're gonna bust you outta here! You're coming with us! Jaaaaadestaaaaar said so herself!"

Once again, Jadestar blushed furiously and cuffed Oakpool playfully on the ear. A silver and white cat giggled, and a reddish cat smirked. A black and white-tipped apprentice was studying me.

Call me paranoid, but she reminded me of Tigerstar. . .
