So I forgot about the wedding imagine. But on the weekend I remembered so I started back working on it. I'm Sorry! If you were looking forward to it.

I'm kinda stuck right now on the ideas so I'm still working but I wanted to get this idea out just to give y'all something for the wait & as a sorry ig. So I hope you like this!

(Edit date: 2.20.23 - More than 10years later, I'm giving this a second look and idk why I wrote and published this like this back in Sept.30,2014. As of now, I've changed it to where Jacob and Chresanto date instead of Jacob and Craig, and they adopt Craig🤦🏾‍♀️ Why did my 15year old brain write it the other way around? But anyway, if this is your first time reading...no worries. If you're rereading, this is why it may seem different than you remember. But to everyone, if there are any comments already here that go "wait what?" Or "wait is Chresanto a baby?" then that's what they were referring to lol)

Jacob's POV

The chirping of birds and the brightness of the sun peaking through my bedroom curtains woke me up one Saturday morning. I sat up wiping the sleep from my eyes and turned to the right to look at the alarm clock that sat on my mahogany nightstand.

It was roughly 7am. I threw back my covers and jumped out of bed, yawning as I combed through my wild bed hair that I forgot to tie up last night. I smirked thinking about what happened.

I forgot to do a lot last night .. Except one thing. I chuckled.

Speaking of, I noticed my sweetheart of a boyfriend, Chresanto, was not in the house. I frowned at that. I always loved waking up with him. I shrugged my shoulders and walked to the kitchen to fix my daily coffee. I flipped on the television to cartoons like I do every morning.

"I'm a grown man," I chuckled and shook my head. I continued on to my coffee, but once I reached the box I noticed something on the lid. I detached it realizing it was a note.

It read:

Dear Honeybun♥,

I love you! I know you're probably wondering where I am . I know you love your sleep, I just wanted to go out and get the few things you mentioned you needed/wanted more of. Like those chocolates you like so much that start with a 'G' . I can't spell it . Lol But anyway, I'm getting other things for the house too, so I'll be back at like 10ish maybe. I'll miss you.. love you!

I instantly smiled at the note. He was always so sweet ! I sighed lovingly. The man was wonderful and always treated me so special.
