Within thirty minutes we were pulling up to the restaurant where we were supposed to have lunch. Since Jeremy didn't reach the restaurant yet Monique, Jamal and myself decided to just sit and wait for him. Soon after he was pulling up beside us and we all got out and headed towards the entrance of the restaurant Jeremy was stopped by two very attractive women who were asking for a signature along with pictures. I was a little surprised, I didn't know that he was well known; I hated the feeling I got knowing that I knew nothing about him.

I turned away from him and continued my journey inside the restaurant, I knew this place well since Monique and I frequented here often. Divine Eats was a nice little establishment that offered top class meals at affordable prices. I loved the fact that despite their obvious wealth my sister and her fiance were some of the most down to earth people that anyone could ever meet in their life.

Soon Jeremy caught up to us just before the hostess could show us to our seats. I found myself wishing that I could know more about him; I was suddenly reminded of the fact that we had a whole two hours drive in a car alone together. I wasn't ready for the sudden onset of nerves that racked my body.

"I didn't know that you were famous," I said as casually as I could as we made our way to our seats,

"Not really, besides there's a lot of things that you don't know about me; unfortunately you made it quite clear that you don't want to know either." he said giving a casual shrug in return.

I was a little stumped because it seemed like a dismissal to me, like he was the one against any sort of interaction with me and that made me a little confused since he was the one begging me to open up to him just earlier. Whatever games he seemed to be playing at, I wasn't willing to play along.

When we reached our seats, Monique and Jamal sat next to each other leaving me to sit next to Jeremy. As I was taking my seat I felt his hand brush against mine lightly and I was reminded of the warmth that he offered earlier this morning. By now I just wanted to get home where I could feel normal again. When we were seated we quickly ordered some drinks and then the conversations started up; I didn't pay much attention to what was going on, instead I zoned out only paying enough attention to order my food. I guess that Jamal and Monique got the picture while Jeremy on the other hand didn't really seemed bothered and that pissed me off.

Throughout the whole lunch random people came up to Jamal and Jeremy asking for autographs. After Jeremy's third autograph I asked, "What do you do for a living?"

I seemed to catch everyone off guard since I was quiet for most of the time, "Does it matter what I do for a living?" he asked raising an eyebrow at me, "No it doesn't, but I just asked since you seemed to be so well known," I said giving him my full attention.

"Funny how you manage to strike up a conversation with me just because you see me sign a few autographs." he said giving me a humorless chuckle,

"You know what, it's funny how defensive you get when I ask you a simple question yet still you try to be all up in my business," I said surprised at his reaction.

"Well there are a lot of other questions that you could have asked which are much more important than what I do for a living, and here I was thinking that those things never fazed you," he said shaking his head,

"Is that what you really think, that I asked because I'm interested in your fame?" I asked him feeling disappointed;

Before he could answer I cut him off, "Save your breath, I understand." Then I turned to Monique to see her giving him a sympathetic look; Jamal on the other hand looked worried. I was confuse as hell but before I could ask they were quick to move along the conversation, which consisted of the new basketball season that was scheduled to start just a week before I go on vacation. Apparently, he was heading back to work the same day Jeremy was heading out.
