Chapter 3
Greatness lies Ahead

It's been a week since Grace had arrived to Los Angeles. She had gotten the apartment and settled in, not having to buy all too much due to the fact that the previous owner had left some stuff behind. The couch was her favorite item that the person didn't take with them. Grace had also gotten a job and made two friends, Karissa and Alfred. That's right, Grace had gotten a job at Café Los Feliz all thanks to Karissa. The two really hit it off and quickly became friends. Grace was in need of a friend too so it was nice.

Grace was currently bringing drinks to a couple sitting at one of her assigned tables. She asked them what they would like to eat for lunch, bringing their order to the back only to come back out to see that she had gotten a new costumer. She walked over to the lady and got her notepad out, getting ready to write down her order.

"Hello, I'm Grace and I will be your waitress today. Can I start you off with a beverage?" She asked, not bothering to look at the lady.

"I'll take a sweet tea please." The country accent spoke, the voice sparking an interest in Grace's attention. She looked up to see the ladies face and dropped her pad and pen right away. Once she noticed what she had done she got down to pick her stuff up, quickly coming back up and brushing herself off, her face red with embarrassment.

"I'm sorry about that it's just that your Julienne Andrews. The Julienne Andrews! I can't even explain how much I love your writing and directing. Well first off, 'Sunlight to Moonlight' is a masterpiece. It deserves so much more credit than what it gets. I know that it was your first movie and you weren't famous at the time but that shouldn't stop people from watching it. I just don't understand. Oh god! And your latest movie was so good. I couldn't seem to drag my boyfriend at the time so I went by myself, three times. Then I bought the movie. I'm rambling aren't I? I apologize. It's one of my bad habits that I still can't seem to get over. Alright I'm just gonna stop talking now, that's probably best. " Grace said, finishing her last sentence quickly, a sheepish look glued on her face. She was looking at one of her movie industry idols and couldn't believe nor comprehend it.

"Yes, I am the Julienne Andrews. I love meeting fans and thank you. You are so right. 'Sunlight to Moonlight' does deserve more credit." The women said, a smile plastered on her tan face.

"That movie practically inspired me to actually pursue after my career." Grace said.

"In directing?" Julienne asked.

"I wish but I feel like I'd be terrible at directing. I actually once tried directing a short play for an acting class and it was horrendous," She said, laughing briefly at the memory. "I meant my acting career." Grace clarified.

"Grace, your table." Karissa said, moving her chin to point out one of the other tables that Grace was in charge of.

"I'd love to keep this conversation going, but unfortunately I am working and have other tables. I'll be out with your sweet tea in just a few minutes." Grace smiled warmly at the lady, walking away from her and to her other customers.

Grace had finished with the rest of her tables, only Julienne's left. She went over and brought her out her meal which consisted of a chicken caesar salad and a large side of fries.

"Here is your food," Grace said, grabbing the plate of salad off of her tray. "Enjoy." Grace smiled, getting ready to head back to the staff lounge room.

"Wait, Grace is it," Julienne asked, the waitress nodding her head. "Can I take my check now, please?" Julienne asked.

"Sure thing." Grace said, going to go and grab the check for her.
