"Ready for school, (Y/n)?" Ob asked me. She was attending the same school as me, same classes and everything, and was hiding her true nature by making her eyes look like mine.

"Yeah, I'm ready," I replied. On our way to school, we picked up Lily, who was more than glad to walk with us.

"I take it that's a new thing you can do with your eyes?" she asked Ob.

"All demons who have been separated from their hosts have the ability to make their eyes look like their host's eyes," she replied.

"Trouble, dead ahead!" I shouted quietly, pointing to Adam and his group of friends. We tried to get past them as quietly as possible, but Adam noticed us. He had a smirk on his face.

Ob's POV
"Well, look who it is," he said, sauntering towards us. "Babe, I'm so sorry."

"Sorry for what, Adam?" she fired at him. "And don't call me babe! I already told you that we're done!"

"But I can give you so much more than her," he said, gesturing to (Y/n).

"Well, (Y/n) is more loyal, unlike you," she fired back, wiping the smirk from Adam's face.

"But..." he began.

"Drop it, dude," one of his friends said. I realized that I needed to take this matter into my own hands, and moved to stand in front of him.

"Adam, is it?" I said. "I'm going to give you a suggestion."

"I'm listening," he told me.

"Well, I assume the reason she dumped you is because of something you did to emotionally hurt her. Is this true?" I asked him.

"Yes..." he admitted.

"Well, I'm glad you finally decided to be honest with her and with yourself. Now, do you still want to be Lily's friend, even though she's dating (Y/n)?" I asked.

"Yes," he said.

"Well, then, until Lily feels comfortable with hanging out with you again, you will RESPECT her wishes and LEAVE HER THE F**K ALONE!" I exploded, causing him to tremble with fear. "Oh no! I'm so sorry, Adam. I honestly didn't mean for that outburst to happen. I just hate to see my friend's emotions get messed with. And I have an even closer bond with (Y/n)," I reassured him.

"It's no big deal," he said. "Besides, you're right. About everything."

"Well, you're welcome to our table during lunch," Lily said.

"Thank you, Lily," Adam replied.

*time skip to lunch*

I decided to briefly show Adam my true eyes, and he didn't even flinch.

"You're not afraid of me?" I asked him.

"Not at all," he replied. "I've known what you are ever since I met (Y/n) back in October of last year. I even know about Antisepticeye, but I promise to keep that information between the four of us."

"Care to elaborate?"

"Of course. The day before you and (Y/n) moved here was the day that Lily broke up with me. I was heartbroken. I didn't know that what I had done had caused that much damage. That night, as I was getting ready for bed, I felt a demon enter my head. He said his name was Bill, and that he could help me get Lily back. I tried to counter by saying that if Lily had moved on from me, then I needed to move on from her. However, Bill threatened to kill me if I didn't do what he said."

I decided to use my powers to search for traces of a demon's presence in Adam's head. My eyes widened in horror as I realized exactly who had been in Adam's head, and I pulled back, trembling in my seat.

"What's wrong, Ob?" (Y/n) asked me, wrapping her arm around me and putting it on my shoulder.

"The demon... who... was... in... your head, Adam, was... Bill... Cipher," I managed to get out. (Y/n) slammed her fist on the table in anger. I managed to keep my wings, claws and fangs from springing out.

"The one who got (Y/n)'s ex-boyfriend Will killed?" Adam asked.

"Not to mention he was also responsible for Weirdmageddon," Lily added.

"That's the one," I said. "When he took Will's life, (Y/n) and I were absolutely furious. Unfortunately, he had started jumping from host to host, killing each and every one of his victims. This made it difficult to find him. Of course, one major giveaway was his ego. Two months ago, he unexpectedly showed up at (Y/n)'s house, but this time, he didn't have a host and was taking on the appearance of Will, albeit with a yellow tuxedo and yellow hair. In a fit of rage, I avenged Will and the rest of Bill Cipher's victims who had suffered the same fate by obliterating that demonic Dorito, ending not only his reign of terror, but also his plans to globalize Weirdmageddon. Unfortunately, I've been having severe nightmares about that day."

"PTSD," Adam pointed out.

P... T... what now?

It's Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, (Y/n).

Well, at least you're not struggling with it now as much as you were then.

"You should go to a therapist."

"No need for that," I said. "Anti's been helping me get through it."

"Oh my gosh, look at the time!" Lily exclaimed. I looked up and, sure enough, it was time for us to get to our next class, so that's what we did.

(A/N: Turns out Adam isn't as much of a jerk as he seems to be. Song up top is "Saviour (feat. Chris Linton)" by Unknown Brain.)
