Dawn's POV

I had been flying for what seemed like hours. You may be wondering what I was flying away from. I was flying away from my abusive stepfather. Pretty soon, my wings got sore from flying for such a long time, so I made my way back down to ground level and started running, trying to forget the pain. That was a big mistake because I collapsed on the spot. All I remember seeing before falling unconscious was a pair of glowing (f/c) rings.

Ob's POV

I was flying around town, just minding my own business, when I saw a girl who looked a bit younger than me. She was about to collapse, so I swooped down and grabbed her before her head could hit the ground. Just before she passed out, I saw her eyes. Her left eye was pitch black and had a glowing blue iris, and her right eye was pitch black and had a glowing green iris. Then it hit me! This girl was not only Anti's missing daughter, but she was also half angel, half demon. I noticed she had been abused by her stepfather, so I decided to return her to her biological family.

Dawn's POV

I woke up in a bed much more comfortable than mine. I sat up and quickly realized that I was in the residence of the one and only Jacksepticeye, my number one favorite YouTuber. He's my favorite because my dad has appeared in quite a few of Jack's videos.

"But...what about Mom?" I thought. Just then, the door opened to reveal two girls slightly older than me. (Y/n) was a normal human with (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair, and Obsidian was a demon with (f/c) irises and hair. I quickly realized that Obsidian had saved me last night.

"Hey, Obsidian, thanks for saving me and bringing me back home, but do you know what happened to my mom?" I asked.

"No problem, but you can call me Ob," she said. "And I do know what happened to your mom, who was Dusk's mom's host, at least until last April when Antimatter tested a machine that can separate a demon from their host on your mom and Midnight, Dusk's mom, though, what still puzzles me is how your mom, an angel, was able to share her body with Dusk's mom. Your mom sacrificed herself to save Midnight, Dusk and you." I started tearing up thinking about Mom being gone. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground, being hugged tightly by my half-sister Dusk, who was born only a few minutes after I was. Dad teleported into the room and, when he saw me, his eyes started to water.

"Hey, Dad," I said. I felt comfortable calling him that.

"Welcome home, Dawn," he said. His voice was just as glitchy as I remembered. Suddenly, the tender moment was interrupted by the sound of someone yelling.

"Wapoosh! TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA LADDIES! MY NAME IS JACKSEPTICEYE!" Jack yelled from his recording office. Normally, when someone yells, I get angry to the point where I end up attacking the person, but since it was just Jack recording a video, I decided to let it slide, knowing that he always shouts in his videos.

"Oh, that reminds me!" Dad said. "Dark is in LA right now, but he and I brought some friends for you and Dusk to play with." As if on cue, a small box with a face, arms and legs walked in. At the same time, a green eyeball with a blue iris and a green tail flew out from behind Dad. I knew exactly who they were since I had the plush versions of them. They were Sam Septiceye and Tiny Box Tim. Sam flew up to me and waved at me with his tail. I waved back, then gave him a tail-to-hand high five. I felt something squeezing my leg. I looked down to see Tim hugging my leg.

"Awww!" I thought.

"You do realize you're coming back to Raspy Hill with Mom and I, right?" Dusk asked me telepathically.

"I know, and I honestly don't mind now that I know where Dad is. Besides, I could just teleport here to visit him anytime I want. But don't worry. I'll make sure to spend time with you and Mom." I honestly felt comfortable calling Midnight my mom.
