Everything was starting to go well. For the next two months, we kept in touch daily. We always had something to talk about. There is hardly a dull moment with him. We laughed a lot about the lamest stuff and debated on the weirdest topics, apparently he always wins these debates. Yet we all know, I just let him win.

Yet, I wasn't quite ready to just hop on a plane and see Calum. He brought it up from time to time, but I always said I'll think about it. I wanted him to spend all the time he had before going back on the road with his family and friends. Plus it was giving me time to figure out what to do really.

As time passed, my feelings for Calum only grew stronger and more apparent. I hoped he felt the same even if it's just a small amount. We never really go into details about our true feelings. Although, I was starting to get more comfortable talking to my close friends about the situation.

I got together with two of my best gals, Megan and Katelyn. When we got together for girl talk, it was like Sex and City but a little less sex and maybe even city. But who cares. See, Katelyn had a thing for Luke while Meg didn't mind taking either Ashton or Michael. I guess you can say it kind of works out for us.

We talked about how our holidays went and what we been up too. I brought up the topic of Calum, of course.

"There is just something about him that makes it okay to be myself for once. I haven't felt that way with a guy in such a long time!" The pitch of my vocals got higher by the end of that explanation.

I kept ranting on ignoring anything that Katelyn and Meg were trying to say to me until meg cut me off speaking loudly saying, "The real question is, when are you going to meet him? Fly out there or go see him on the road? Do you even care that he wants to see you?"

Taken back by what was said, I hunched down in my chair a bit.

I did care. I cared a lot.

The tone of my voice was filled with concern. "I don't know yet, I just can't fly out to go see a guy I hardly know."

Katelyn cocked her head to the side, "What you mean 'a guy you hardly know'?"

I shrugged and she continued on but her voice seem to get louder and a little more irritated with what I said and I didn't blame her, I was the same with her in other situations.

"You talk to Calum pretty much every day for a few months now... sometimes twice a day when you both are feeling it. You text, you video chat, you call, you message, you tweet, you email--"

I was trying to interrupt and explain but she pressed on.

"The sound of a beeping notification for any social media... we already know it's from Calum! And you come here to tell us that HE'S A GUY YOU HARDLY KNOW?! You probably know what color toothbrush he uses. What he ate yesterday. Helped him pick what to wear. The last funny thing that happened to him. How many puppy pictures you sent each other in the past 3 days. The last emoji he sent you. Know the exact time you got off the phone with him last night--"

Blue and white. Spaghetti made by his mom and some pie. Told him to wear that M2M muscle tee with his adidas shorts. Something about how Michael called him to tell him this joke that I didn't get because it related to a video game. 3 puppies - Me, 5 puppies - Calum. Puppy emoji, duh. 2:53am.

"By this rate I say you guys are dating. Don't come here and tell me he's just a guy you hardly know."

My eyes gazed over to Meg to see what her reaction was about all of this. She just looked at me and picked up her mug and drank from it.

I whispered hoping no one heard, "We never talked about dating or what we are."

"YOU NEVER TALKED ABOUT WHAT YOU GUYS ARE?", Meg shot me a certain look that showed so much emotion on how she felt while slamming down her mug.

"It just never came up? Like we talk about other things and sometimes about love but never about us."

"Hold up. WHAT. You never bought up the idea to him? Do you even like this dude. Why are you playing games." Meg was starting to get involved in the heated conversation.

"I'm not playing games. It just we never talked about it."

Katelyn looked directly into my eyes with seriousness, "Do us all a favor. The next time he calls you. Ask him. Don't beat around the bush. No sugarcoating it either."

My voice trembled a little, "And what if I don't?"

"WE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!" Their voices insynced.

Oh god.

I paced around my room. My heart was starting to race. My arms were starting to feel heavy and painful. My eyes felt dry but my palms were sweating.

I know that Calum was going to be sleeping over a friends' house but this couldn't wait. I knew that Katelyn and Meg would prevalent in this situation. I picked up my phone and called and the sound of the ringing tone only made my matters scarier.

"Hello?" The sound of his voice sounded a bit out of air.

"Hey Cal..."

"OOOOH NOOO YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSE TO KICK IT TO HIM. KICK IT BACK."

Is he playing a sports game? Of course.

"Cal..."

"Hey! Sorry. I'm playing soccer outside. I thought were gonna talk before I go to bed --- WHAT YESS!!! GOAL."

"Cal, this is important, WE NEED TO TALK..."
