A Kiara (14), Jayson (14), and Mary (13) story
Kiara, Mary, and Jayson were taking a walking in Kiara's garden, talking about who knows what. Mary was looking at all of the flowers when two little kids climbed over the wall separating the garden from the market place. Mary jumped back, not expecting them, and Jayson got in front of Kiara, protecting her from these possible intruders.
"Hey twinnsies, what's going on?" Kiara lightly pushed Jayson's arm down, reassuring him that these two children were friends.
"Hi Princess, we were hoping we could play the game today" The little girl explained.
"I'm sorry, I don't think we can today. You see, my friends, Jayson and Mary ar-" Kiara explained as she got cut off.
"What game?" Mary and Jayson asked in unison.
"It's a game where you steal from the different market place vendors" Kiara explained.
"You can't be seen. The palace guards are in on the game too, so if you are seen, you mustn't get caught by the guards" The little girl continued.
"The last one to get caught wins!" The little boy finished off.
"Sounds cool, let's play" Jayson nudged Kiara in the shoulder.
"Really? Okay then" Kiara was confused by his eagerness to play this game.
"Yay!" both of the twins jumped around, excited to play the game.
They all made their way to Kiara's room to prepare for the game. They needed to do a bit of preparation before they could start.
"Genie, can you inform the vendors in the market place that we are going to be playing the royal game?" Kiara asked Genie.
"Okay, will do Princess" and with that, he flew out the window.
"So we should play in teams, Jayson, Mary, and I, against the twinnsies" Kiara split up the little group.
"What? No. That's not fair, there are more of you" the boy pointed out.
"But you two are experienced players of this game, and Jayson and Mary are new" Kiara explained.
"So I heard you guys are playing the Royal Game," Razoul said from the door of Kiara's room.
"We are," Kiara confidently spoke. "Tell your guards to be ready."
"I will" Razoul smiled, with a hint of competitiveness.
"Are you going to play?" Kiara asked.
"No, not today Princess Kiara, but Ajay said last time that he would get you the next time you played this game," Razoul told her.
"Tell him that he can try" Kiara laughed, which brightened the whole room.
Razoul chuckled at the young princess's competitiveness, knowing that his son is equally as competitive. He left Kiara's room to go inform the guards of the game. Just then, Genie reappeared in the middle of the room.
"They have been warned" he announced in a deep, raspy voice.
"Thank you" Kiara walked by making a checkmark in the air.
"Are we going out like this?" Mary pulled on her lavender shirt realizing that all of the royals in the room would stick out like sore thumbs if they tried to play this game with what they were wearing.
"We will change into outfits that will help us blend in with the crowd," Kiara exited her room and Jayson and Mary followed. They followed her to a room where she had extra clothes for all of her friends.
