Endangered Flower

A Jayson (16), Kalina (12), and Kiara (16) story

Kiara and Jayson were hanging out at Jayson's house, Kiara laying on his bed while Jayson sat on the ground, both of them watching a movie at the foot of his bed. She played with his hair as they completely ignored the movie and just talked.

"Kiara! Jayson! Come over here! Kalina got hurt!" Rapunzel yelled from another room

The two got up really quickly and ran to Kalina's room.

"What happened?" Jayson asked as he made his way to the side of Kalina's bed to be with her.

"We don't know, we were out and all of a sudden, she fell, and she's not waking up. We know for a fact that she's not dehydrated; we don't know what's going on" Flynn answered

"Have you tried using her hair to wake her up, like if she's hurt or something that would heal her?" Jayson asked, kind of panicky

"We tried that, it didn't work, her hair didn't even start to glow when I was singing the song," Rapunzel said

"She's under some kind of spell. If her hair didn't even glow, then there is a spell on her that is preventing it from healing her and waking her up." Kiara said

"How do we wake her up then?" Jayson looked up at Kiara who was standing behind him

"There is an urb deep in a cave in Greece that can do many wondrous things, like lift any spell or cure any deadly disease, kind of like that golden flower, but it can't make you young or anything" Kiara explained

"We have to go get it!" Jayson said standing up.

"The journey to get the urb is dangerous Jayson" Kiara warned reaching out, putting her hand on his shoulder

"I don't care, we have to save my sister" shaking her hand off his shoulder, leaving the room to get ready for the adventure

"Please make sure he's safe," Rapunzel said with a sad smile

"I will" Kiara gave both Rapunzel and Flynn a reassuring smile, looked at Kalina, and ran after Jayson.

Kiara caught up with Jayson, and they both went outside to meet Carpet, who was hanging out. They both got on Carpet and Kiara told Carpet where they were going. Kiara knew how dangerous this trip was going to be so she took out the magic lamp from her bag and asked the Genie to take her bag, go to her top closet shelf and get anything they might need for the trip. Genie knew the dangers of this trip as well and asked her if she wanted him to come but she said no, so he filled it without any jokes, just what they needed. Though Kiara was talking to others throughout this trip, the two didn't talk. Kiara knew Jayson needed the alone time.

They soon arrived at the cave and Kiara told Carpet not to go with them in the cave, so he waited.

"Are you sure you're up for this?" Kiara looked at Jayson seeing the conflict of emotions on his face

"I'm sure," he said not looking back at her as they walked into the cave.

After a while, as that light of the entrance started fading and the cave got darker, Kiara found in her bag, a lantern and lit it. Not too long after that, the two started talking again. They talked about everything and anything to pass the time. Jayson told her stories about when he was younger, Kiara told him stories about the adventures she's gone on with her friends.

"Watch out for the glowing red spikes on the walls, if it touches you, it releases a deadly poison into your body and the only way to heal you is the urb that we are going to get. It takes a bit of time for the poison to take effect but nonetheless don't touch it" Kiara explained
