Alright guys. This is a story i've been working on for a LONG time. I finally got the balls to post the first chapter. Hopefully, you guys will like it. I just need feedback for it, to know readers like it. Have a good day, loves.

This is going to be a long day, I think to myself as I push my covers off of me and slide off of my bed to silence my screaming alarm. Though it was the middle of winter, my palms were sweaty and my stomach was flip-flopping around like it was doing some type of dance.

I was starting at a new school today, Haven High, in a small town in Arkansas Moving here from Upland, California was an extreme culture shock; as soon as we got here I was hit in the face with country accents, camouflage clothing and even a few cars that were camouflage, and the smell of mud. It wasn’t even close to what my family was used to. My father grew up here, he always told me that the country life style was better than any city he had ever been to. I knew he was a liar then, and I now have proof.

Hitting the off button on my alarm, I checked my cell phone, seeing reassuring text messages from all of my old friends. It was going to be weird not having them by my side all the time to help me. Though, I didn’t have many. Just a few good ones, the other were people to hang out with and party with.  A smile came to my face when I read one from my boyfriend.

You’re going to have a great day babe. I promise you it’ll be fine.. I love you, darling- Cody

My fingers moved quickly to reply to him.

Thanks, Cody. I love you, too. <3

Hitting send, I locked my phone again and went to look for some clothes. I was tired past belief, considering the major time difference between here and Cali. My dresser was pushed against the far wall, next to my full length mirror. Pulling open a drawer, my hands went in search of my favorite grey skinny jeans and Sum 41 shirt.

Ahh, there they are, I thought to myself as my hands pulled them out. Standing, I went to my bathroom and plugged in my hair straightener, then while it was heating up I stripped myself of my night clothes, and examined my refection in the mirror.

My long brown hair was flying in all directions, and my dark eyes held anxiety, making me realize my stomach churning. Lifting my pale arm, I poked my stomach, and cringed. God, you’re fat, my mouth turned to a deep frown.

I tugged open my make up bag, and grabbed a pill bottle; the quiet pop! of it opening made me smile a little. I tipped it over, making colorful pills fall out of it and into my hand. I turned on the tap to the sink, popped two pills into my mouth, and cupped my hands to drink some water.

The reflection in the mirror smirked at me, but deep in its eyes you could see a glimmer of something. I didn’t know what it was, but I wouldn’t find out. I shook my head, and put the pill bottle back, wishing fat burners worked faster. I put on my fresh clothes, grabbed a brush and yanked it threw my hair.

“Morgan! Are you awake?” my little brothers soft voice called threw my bedroom door.

“Yes, baby. I’m up.” I called back, and heard the soft click of my door, and little feet walking to my bathroom door. It opened, and there stood my eight year old brother, Alexander. He looked like he could have been my son, not just my brother. His brown hair was shaggy, slightly covering his dark brown eyes.

“Are you ready for your first day here?” Alexander smiled up at me, before going and putting the seat on the toilet down and sitting on it.

I nodded as I smiled back, pulling my straightener threw my bangs. Switching it off, I grabbed my makeup and applied a foundation, powder, a thick rim of black eyeliner and a lot of mascara.
