Love and war go hand in hand. Like war cannot exist without love, love cannot be without war. Those who wage war, they always have a purpose. For most, it is familial love, or the love for someone else that drives then to make a better world for them. For some, it is the love of killing, the love of battle, that drives them to create war.
Sometimes the love for your kingdom and your subjects will prompt you to sacrifice everything. That is one of the reasons that war can be fought over love. You might not want to sit by idly while someone enslaves your people. It takes bravery to start a war, and even more to willingly die for your love. Like good and evil, white and black and light and dark, love and war are eternal opposites, but not so much.
Sometimes the line between love and war blur.
A war cannot be won without someone, somewhere, loving something, or someone.
