I think most of us still remember the first time we ever liked KPOP...no? Well I do. This is how I did (and maybe how you did too!)
-------
TV IS ON NICKELODEON: Nan eureureong eureureong eureureong dae... (growl by exo)
ME: OMG! Those guys are cute!!! Wait...they're 12? (used to like 1D and they're just 5)
~right after watching Growl~
ME ON YOUTUBE: *type type* EXO GROWL MV *watch watch* *finds another video and watches it* *finds another* *and another*
I JUST OFFICIALLY BECAME AN EXOTIC (Exo-L now)
Then I focused on EXO, know their names first, their profiles, get their pics, get their songs, study their dances, knows more groups, wants to go to concert, have the shirts, posters, learned hanggul, have korean friends in school and BOOM!!! ♥_♥
-------
How did yours begin??? Comments....
Going back, when you start liking kpop, of course, you'll stay up all night just to be updated. You'll be stuck on it for maybe a year. You will be leaving western music for a while and just get back to it.
Ok, I'm just saying, I find KPOP music more meaningful and mature than western. Western be all like, butts, money, drugs, sexual stuff, etc. That's why from western, I'm going to Bristish now (excluding 1D) like The Vamps, 5SOS, Ed Sheeran, etc. But I don't hate anyone or anygenre, ok? PEACE OUT!
How did I get here? Anyway, being a KPOP newbie is hard especially adjusting with the new world (especially with your friends) when you go to school and suddenly your wallpaper in your phone is a kpop idol and your friends react. It's true! I experienced it myself. Once you become a Kpopper, people will always be weirded out. These may happen:
------
NON-KPOPPER: Why do you like asians? *sorry racist*
NON-KPOPPER: You don't even understand them.
NON-KPOPPER: asdjdkjdkbcjsmhsjkendlfu! *mocking korean language*
YOU: 0_o
--------
So you have to be prepared to be mocked, insulted, ditched, or even bullied. I don't mean toy scare you guys...THAT'S WHY I'M WRITING THIS BOOK!!! XP
