I know it sounds a bit dramatic. I don't know with you, but KPOP definitely changed my life.
Here are some results that it changed my life:
● I am now an all-nighter. Sleeping at 10 pm is NOT NORMAL.
● I had to manage my time from friends and KPOP friends in school.
● When I'm shocked or amazed, I always say "Waaaahh!"
● I often say "Jinjja?" to my friends. Tho they understand me.
● When something's pretty, always say "Ohh, yepuda!"
● When someone calls me, or something's wrong, I answer, "Wae?" or "Wae gurae?"
● When answering calls from my mom or dad, I answer with "Yobuseyo?" >o
● I bow a lot. (90 degrees)
● I call people with "Ya!"
● I call my younger brother "Dong saeng!"
● I dance...a lot. As in...A LOT!
● When I'm embarassed, I cover my face with my palms sometimes.
● This is more of a confession ~ I have more KPOP songs that western/ british songs in my phone. ^///^
● If It's my spare time, I write in hanggul or read them to practice myself read or write it faster.
● All the videos I downloaded in my phone are all KPOP except for 2 or 3. noooo~
● When there are classmates reunions, I don't go. BECAUSE EXO'S MV IS GONNA RELEASE.
● I speak Konglish A LOT.
● I often say "Mianhe~" or "Chesonghamnida~"
● I count things in korean. Liks il, i, sam, sa...
● When we play rock scissors paper, I say, Gai-bai-bo!
● When there's a racing or something, I shout "Hana...deul...set! or "Shi...jak!"
● When we take pictures or selcas, I count "Hana, deul, set!" Or sometimes "il, i, sam!"
● I call 'selfies' to 'selcas' now.
● I take care of my skin more often now.
● I drink lots and lots of water now and juice. More than soda. Actually i don't drink soda :P i'm an outcast.
● I eat a healthy diet. But if pizza is around...I will eat it all!!!!!!! Mwahahahaha.... *evil smile*
● I dance randomly in school with me only hearing the music in my earphones.
So much changes right? That's not even all yet. *sigh* because of watching too much reality shows like Bangtan Rookie King, Exo's Showtime, Real GOT7, 2NE1 TV, After School Club (ASC) or Arirang, I suddenly kept talking korean. "Mush mush mush..." like for example, I'm a Potter, so after watching so much movies, I accidentally talk british in school! Even my classmate, Elrae, talks british coz of watching Dr. Who. Kind of the same with kpop. But people around you don't know the hell what you're talking about! My friends' reactions? EXPECTED! I have a feeling they'll already know what i'll come out to. When I pull out my earphones and it looked like I'm watching something on my phone and it's tilted landscape, they know I'm probably watching some KPOP Variety show or some mv. Total Change of Life! I don't consider it a struggle or any roadblock, but I consider it: NORMAL.
