Some parents are just chill and okay having their daughters/sons have crushes on koreans. But some parents react too much like, Is this the korean group you like...what? Why do you like them? or sometimes they tease you like Oooyyyy is this your crush... ugh! Annoying right?
There's actually no escaping this but you just have to maybe endure it. My cousin's mother is so awesome. She's ok with it and she even buys my cousin exo stuff from Thailand! (I'm from zeh Philippines btw) Anyway, you'll really love it when your parents support you in what you like.
There are of course parents who are weirded out like friends. It's always koreans. Always KPOP. (Korean ka nang Korean. Puro nalang KPOP. in Filipino). As much as possible, they want us to stay away from KPOP. So they can introduce us to other genres. But if that's what you don't wanna happen, then don't play KPOP songs when they're around...
