Tripping over to the bathroom, I find my way to my toilet, throwing up everywhere: gross. Time: 9am, Date: Saturday 16th. Ah fudge. Breakfast. Preparing myself for the day, there's a knock on my door as I'm putting in the last clip on my hair. "Come in!" Sharply hearing the door click, I turn around to face Aidan, "Are you okay? The chocolate you had last night had alcohol in dummy," he had his glasses on and was sipping on his daily cup of tea. Tea.

"What?" I stared at him wanting confirmation.
"They had alcohol in, the chocolate and you ate almost the whole bowl of them, oh and don't worry about breakfast, John made us some toast," he added, "So you okay?"
I nodded surprised, "Did I say anything weird?"
"Uh, not particularly, you don't remember anything?" he enquired suspiciously.
"No, not really," I squint as I have a slight ache in my head, my memory hazy from last night.
"Mmh, okay then," with that Aidan left again.

Suddenly, Rina popped her head through the door "Did Aidan tell you anything?" she wondered,
"About what?" I questioned.
"Has he mentioned me?" she informed me.
"No? What's going on between you two?" I say passive aggressively, they were keeping secrets from me and they didn't normally do that.
"I- it's nothing, don't worry about it," Rina slipped away leaving me speechless.

What was I missing?

Determined to figure out the situation, I stormed down the hallway to where Matty's room laid. His door decorated with celebrities and pictures of things he loved. Knocking roughly, the door soon opened and I glared at him, "What's going on between Rina and Aidan? Tell me now."
"W-what, it's not my place to tell you but they shouldn't be keeping it from you," Matty stuttered, surprised from my visit probably.
"What is that even, how is that supposed to help me?!" I yelled in defeat and stomped off in fury.

"Stop trying to avoid me then!" I could hear Aidan's voice yelling at someone downstairs.
"I'm sorry! I'm not trying to, I just don't want to be a disturbance!" Rina's voice shouted back - she sounded like she was crying. Sprinting for the stairs, I quickly land on each step and slow down when I approach the end - where Aidan and Rina was stood there facing each other.
"What is going on here?!" I yell out of anger and confusion.

"Lyra... I'm sorry I didn't tell you," Rina started but at that moment I felt lightheaded, I felt dizzy and suddenly all I could hear was my name being called out yet gradually fading.

"I'm sorry Lyra, you might be torn between me and Rina,"

Shaking my head and waking up, I see everyone staring at me with worried faces with someone saying, "She had a fever last night and hasn't eaten anything and threw up this morning."
"Hold on, she's awake," John took notice.
"Are you okay??" Rina hugged me tight.
"Aidan...what did you mean by me being torn between you and Rina?" I ignore everything and want my point to be answered clearly.
"Lyra. Please I'll talk to you later," Rina turned stern.
"Why don't you just tell her here and now and everyone else here why you're avoiding me!" Aidan took my arm and dragged me out the house with him.

"H-hey! Where are you taking me?" I'm mad at Aidan, why is he being so mean to Rina, and why is Rina avoiding him.
Stuffing my face with a chicken burger and chips, I'm grateful for the food for my growling stomach.
"Don't worry, we're not in a rush, the place doesn't open up until about two hours," Aidan tried to slow me down.
"What place?" I asked.
"You know, the gaming convention," Aidan smirked.
"WHAT! OH MY GOD!" I screamed but quickly shut up when everyone stared at me.

Excitedly jumping up and down in circles, I couldn't contain myself, Aidan smiled at me. At that, I paused and calmed myself a little, "Thanks," I whispered.
"No problem," he patted me which I pouted at innocently (A/N: I mean RAWRED XD @) as I didn't know how to react. Finally getting into the front of the queue, Aidan showed the tickets and let us in.

Viewing everything in sight, I fangirl at a world which I understood so well, we even made some friends and played games with others - no matter how bad I was, they were really supportive. Grabbing my phone, I check the time, oh. There were about 15 miss calls and 47messages. Tapping Aidan on the shoulder, I grab his attention this time "When are we leaving?" I ask casually.
"What? Are they calling and texting you too?" Aidan saw straight through me, I gulped.

Taking my hand, he took me outside to a nearby water fountain, we sit on a bench where he had given me ice cream - one way to shut me up. "I was supposed to go to that with you and Rina," he pulled out another ticket, "I don't know why, she's subtly just trying to push me away, she's avoiding me, she keeps beating herself up and she won't tell me anything. I don't want to talk to someone who's like that; she just keeps apologising but I don't need her to do that. She shut me off and if that's how it's going to be, so be it."

Silence.

I knew he didn't want to talk about it further, I knew he was hurt, I knew why Rina was like this. I knew her like the back of my hand.
"I'm sorry, you're going to be torn between us," he spoke; by that I knew I'd be in the middle of them and he knew I couldn't pick sides.
"Nuuuu, as long as I have both of you I'll be okay, we'll make it work!" I try to be positive but I know they can't just split up so easily. (A/N: LoLoLoL funny)

"Thanks for today though, I really needed it," I gave a faint smile.
"Let's get home," Aidan guided me back as I followed his footsteps.

Oh boy.
