Old family
▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪I take a deep breath to try and calm my nerves. I step out of the vehicle as my gaze slowly takes in the ancient looking building that towers before me. 'Hello new home, please be kind to me,' I give myself a pep-talk in my head. Not that it helps much. I tear my gaze away from my new home, because I hear mom getting my stuff, so I quickly go to help her.
"Aren't you excited honey?" my mom asks. Honestly she sounds more excited than me, maybe she wants to get rid of me. No! No, don't think like that she is doing this because she knows it's better for you.
" Ya, I cant wait to see Lisa, and Larry after all these years," I give back a believable smile. Honestly I don't want to be here, but I don't know where else I'd want to be...not my old house, that's for sure.
"Yep, Lisa has been so excited to see her sweet little (y/n)! Although your not so little anymore," she has that motherly voice where they reminess over their baby. Not sad, nor happy, but soft. I just nod in responce. We get my duffle bag, and pull along suitcase out. I reach for one of the 3 boxes I brought when all of a sudden,
"(Y/m/n)!" I hear a females voice yell from the building. I put the box down to see Lisa. I feel a warmness in my heart for a second when I see her figure run over. She looks the same, a little older, but still the beautiful, mature, motherly figure I remembered her as. She had on a purple sweater, and orangish, tan jeans. Her long brown hair flowed behind her.
"Its been too long, I really missed you," she said as she huged your mother. Now that she was up close you could see how tired her eyes really where. Beautiful none the less. You could tell she worked hard, at her job, and as a mother. Jesus knows how hard raising Larry was. I wonder how Jim is. Ill see him later I guess.
" Oh my, is that my (y/n)," she spoke soft with a huge smile. She looks like she might cry.
"Hi, aunt Lisa, ya it's me," I put on a smile, and gave a small wave.
"My, look how much you have matured, and your only 15, and so very gorgeous," she sounded like she meant it, but shes wrong I'm far from that, but I thanked her anyways.
" Wheres Larry? I cant stay long, but i would love to see him before I leave, " my mom stated.
"Oh that boy, he said he'd be right out he had to put his shoes on," Lisa smiled and shook her head then continued," I've missed you so much (y/n), and I promise I'll do everything I can to make you happy here."
"No, no please don't go out of your way I'm just glad to see you guys again really," I dont want to be a bother.
"Nonsense, Larry will to. Trust me that boy may not admit it, but he misses you too. You guys allways where best friends, like siblings even. He was excited when I told him about you staying," she laughed. Larry missed me? I hope he still feels the same sibling bound even after I've changed. Only I'm sure he's changed alot as well.
"Speak of the devil himself," Lisa says while looking towards the entrance of the building. I folow her gaze, and see ....LARRY?! Man if it wasn't for his nose, and how he takes after his mom, I wouldnt have known it was him. His brown hair had gotten even longer, his eyebrows where bigger, but matched his face, his whole aesthetic had changed. It suited him though. He had the same tired eyes as his mother. He had his hands in his pockets as he strolled up.
"Larry, its been to long, and you have grown so much," my mom exclaimed while hugging him. He looked a little uncomfortable, but hugged back all the same. She was right though, he was really, really tall. He had what appeared to be a sanity falls shirt on, and blue jeans.
