Piper pushed me out of the way and took the situation into her hands. "Hey, Xavier, what's up? She casually asked him while trying to get my attention. I probably looked like a weirdo, but I couldn't help it. Finally, I snapped out of it.

Xavier looked stunned a little bit, but focused onto Piper at the sound of her voice and I thought I heard angels singing or something. I know it sounds totally lame, but this kid was hot and I just couldn't stop staring.

"Onyx wanted me to give this to you." He handed her a duffle-bag full of her clothes that I'm sure she left at his house. I finally snapped out of my frozen state and Piper introduced us.

"Xavier this is my best friend, Skyler and Skyler this is Onyx's best friend Xavier. Say hi." She turned and winked at me. Oh, I was going to kill her. She did this on purpose. I shut the door on Xavier and pulled her towards me.

Don't get me wrong, Xavier was hot. I mean he could play football and still manage to outshine anyone. If I had ever seen him before I would have noticed him. He looked to be about 6'1 and he was built. He had green eyes that seemed to gleam. His jaw was like a movie stars and I really wished he would like me, but unfortunately for me, it never works like that. He was wearing a cotton shirt that had a slight v neckline. He had full lips and they looked very kissable for sure. He seemed to have the attitude of someone with confidence and he definitely loved his hair. He was wearing converse shoes, which are by far the hottest shoes any guy can wear. I just wish Piper would have let us meet instead of her hooking me up, again.

"I should have known what that mysterious look in your eye was that one Saturday! What the hell are you thinking? I don't even know the dude!" I said. Piper liked to hook me up with guys I have never met and even though all of them are attractive they lost interest in me really fast. Which always made the date that much weirder.

"I did nothing of the sort. Oh, my god! You totally think he is hot! I can't believe I have never introduced you to him!" She exclaimed while hitting her forehead.

"You're telling me this was not planned?" I asked, not convinced.

"Yes! I thought you were with your dad. Hello, you just came over, remember."

"Oh, well then forget what I said. I love you!" I say sweetly.

"Huh," was all she said while she opened the door again. Xavier was still holding the duffle bag; which Piper took from him and smiled so big that stars on the red carpet would be proud.

"I'll be right back. I have to put this in my room really quick," she said while looking at me and walked upstairs to her room.

I didn't know what to say so it was kind of awkward. Finally, I broke the silence because I couldn't take it anymore.

"So, how come whenever I hung out with Piper and Onyx and his friends, you were never among them?" I asked him because I was genuinely curious.

He looked shy and seemed to not know how to answer that, but managed to anyway. He looked cute when he was nervous.

"I guess I was just not around when you guys hung out. I don't really like big crowds." He did that cute rocking back and forth with his hands in his pocket.

That took me by surprise. Xavier did not look like the kind of guy to turn down a party, which Onyx and Piper happened to throw all the time.

"Oh, well, to be honest, me either. I only go because Piper and Onyx are the hosts. Otherwise I would stay in my room and write." I told him. He looked me in the eye and I swear I felt a pull and I didn't want to look away.

"Well, maybe next time they have a party I'll see you there?" He asked with a smile.

I can't believe he would go just for me. I must be dying or in the hospital because there is no way this beautiful person in front of me was interested in me.

"I've returned," Piper replied looking at Xavier and I, "Oh, don't show how much you missed me." I rolled my eyes and Xavier smiled. He has a very beautiful smile and I would not mind seeing it every day.

"Don't flatter yourself, Piper," I said. Xavier seemed to not want to leave and I didn't want him to go, but there really wasn't any reason for him to stay any longer.

"Well, it's settled then. I'll see you..." Xavier trailed off.

"Skyler." I told him. He must have missed when Piper introduced us.

"Right, Skyler. I'll see you at the next party. Don't miss me too much." He winked then turned around and Piper just stared at me, but then he turned and winked at me again. He winked at me! I thought if I was dead earlier I was definitely in Heaven right now.

I still had the stupid smile on my face and I couldn't stop thinking of him. I know we met for like ten minutes, but it felt like it was much longer. Piper grabbed my hand and ran with me following her to her room.

"Did that just happen?" Piper asked me with a smile plastered to her face. She almost looked giddy.

"Yeah, I think it did." I bite my lip, "Piper, I didn't know you were having a party! I don't even have clothes... What will I do?" I ask desperately. I had to look my best. I couldn't look like a hobo if Xavier was going to be there.

Piper was still staring at me. "Well, I didn't know you were coming back. It's this Friday. In three days. I wanted to have a party bash before school starts. Which starts the week after next," She explained.

"In three days! I can't wait that long," I didn't mean to say that out loud.

"Oh. My. God! Someone has a crush!" Piper squealed. She dragged me to her closet and helped me find an outfit. She knew how important it was for me to look my best, especially because I really want to impress Xavier.

"What about this?" She asked holding up a dress.

It was a short dress that is white with rhinestones all over it. It has see-through sleeves and goes up to the neck. The back has a dip which has the see-through fabric and the rest is the same as the front. It looks beautiful.

"I can't borrow that...It looks so expensive and not my kind of dress," I explained looking skeptical.

"What do you mean! You have to. You will look gorgeous in it. Just trust me, okay? I wouldn't give you a dress if you didn't look good in it," she winked.

Piper always had stylish clothes and they were always more than I could afford, but sometimes she would let me borrow them if it was for a good cause. I guess going to this party for Xavier was one of them.

"Fine, but I'm not wearing heels. I will wear my converse, "Piper looked as if to protest, but I held up my hand, "I am not a heel person. I would fall on my face, plus the converse would look really good with the dress," Piper just rolled her eyes and agreed because she knew I wouldn't wear heels.

I took the dress and put it in my car so that it was hanging from the handle hook in the back that is above the door. I looked up and saw a weird car parked behind a bush. I didn't know who it was and it creeped me out so I quickly went back inside. I wasn't going to tell Piper because I didn't want her causing a riot of panic. Piper would do that too.

I left Piper's a few hours later. She asked me what happened when she left and I told her and she laughed and was happy with me. I kept asking her questions about Xavier, but she did not know much about him to my dismay. She told me I would know more when he told me. I was just so happy to have even met him that I couldn't hide my smile.

As I reached my house, I noticed the creepy van again and just ran the rest of the way and no one was home to tell them about it. I didn't want to call the cops because that would have just been childish. The van or person haven't done anything to harm anyone and for all I know, it could just be someone parked it there when they visited someone. So, I dropped it and thought more about Xavier.
