Luhan was tapping his foot furiously at the doors of the convenience store as Hyeri and Sehun trampled to its entrance.

While both of them were panting out of breath, they managed to bow. They apologized for being late as they threw annoyed glances at each other.

Sehun began, "So sorry we're late, Luhan. If it weren't for Miss. Drooly-face over here, we wouldn't be running late - LITERALLY."

Hyeri just rolled her eyes, "Not my fault I can't get enough sleep with this new job."

This made the other scoff, "Then go to bed right after work then."

"Ugh, I do! And also right after I get home from school. But then I don't have any time to study - in fact, I have no free time at all! I have to end up staying up until 3 AM on my off days."

"That's not going to bed early. That's going to bed early in the morning not the night, which is how it's supposed to be," Sehun corrected.

Hyeri crosses her arms, "Alright. Who cares who's right and who's wrong. You know, you should respect my time when I nap and stop pestering me since you're ruining my sleeping schedule by doing so!"

Sehun lets out a frustrated groan, "Then you'll be late for our time reserved for working at the convenience store!"

"I wouldn't be here if you could've let me have the last bag of chips. For the record, I had them first. Hmph!" Hyeri turned away from him.

"Wow, so you're really going to blame this on chips? first, you blamed this job, then me for your irresponsible sleeping schedule then a bag of chips?"

"It's not that bag of chip's fault, it's yours!"

"No, no. You got it all wrong about those Hot Cheetos. It was mine."

"Uh, no it wasn't, mister! I clearly had it in my hands"

"You're wrong, I was the one who grabbed it first!"

"Shut up, the chips were mine. Admit it."

"No, they were mine!"

Suddenly, the sound of a dog whistle loud pierced their ears. Luhan's expression remains unbothered by the noise coming from his phone while Hyeri and Sehun both wince in pain and cover their ears.

"now that I've gotten your attention, you both will be on night duty as per usual, but you guys need to lock up the shop at 4 AM.

"4 AM?!?!" Hyeri exclaimed. "We have school tomorrow what's wrong with you!" Sehun gaped.

Luhan glances at his watch and angrily sighs, "Well, I'm late for a prior engagement I could've attended on time if you both would have arrived on time."

Sehun interjects, "Well actually we got here a couple of seconds after 9 PM--"

Luhan scowls, "And by on-time, I do not mean 9 PM exactly."

Hyeri lets out a yawn, which earned her a nudge from Sehun.

"Now, with the two of you bickering you have been wasting my time and a line of customers' time." Luhan points inside the store to the register.

Both expecting a line of two or three customers, Sehun and Hyeri looked over to see a single person holding ramen and six soft drinks on the counter.

Sehun scoffed, "Are you freaking kidding me, man? Does that look like a line of customers to you, Luhan?"

Hyeri rolled her eyes, "But there's only one person ther--"

The rather tall customer turns around to reveal the one and only gamer who has been hassling the two to join his team for the game tournament, Jin. Taking in the bold green uniform vest that Hyeri and Sehun wore, he gave the two the widest smirk.
