Grace stepped inside of Henry Dark's house, noticing the interior was just as neat as the exterior, and was splashed with the same lovely, yet gloomy colors such as a nightmarish purple, an indigo blue, dark maroon colors, and rich crimson reds. The house was big in size, and looked gothic-themed like most homes in Gloomsville, and it fit the residents' surnames well. She was greeted by Henry's wife, Jenna Dark, who had slightly pale skin and long hair with a bizarre shade of indigo that framed her round, petite face. Her silver eyes gleamed once she saw her visitor, a warm smile glued to her face. She wore a long, floaty black gown with a sleeveless, heart-shaped bodice adorned in lace, and when she walked her footsteps made clacking sounds against the marble floor, giving the brunette the impression she was wearing heels.
Grace looked at Jenna with a serious expression and said, "I gotta big problem!" She knew Jenna would be able to help, she was fond of Grace and she had known her mother.
Jenna smiled and tsked while shaking her head with a smile still plastered onto her face, "Oh Gracie, you're always in trouble, what happened this time!" She lead Grace into the living room and they both sat in comfy chairs with velvety cushions.
Grace sighed, "It's about Frank..." She casted her eyes downwards, thinking about the whole situation at hand. Jenna laughed, "So you like him too now!" She raised a thin eyebrow at the twelve year old sitting next to her. Grace suddenly got up "No, no, and no! It's about his ...ex...girlfriend, Rebecca." Grace quickly explained while furiously shaking her head, leaping off the sofa for a second and waving her arms around in front of her.
Jenna giggled, "So that love potion didn't work out like you planned, eh?" Grace sat back down, resting her chin in the palms of her hands with her eyes staring at the floor. "Yeah, he fell in love with a FREAKEN guitar! That'll be like Skullboy falling in love with his wrench!....If my mom was here, she'd know what to do, I SUCK at problems like this!" She threw her arms in the air dramatically.
Jenna looked at grace sympathetically, and poured her a cup of sweet tea from the tea set on the coffee table in front of them. "Not always, your mother was just like you at this age, Frank and Len's parents had the same problem!" She said with a laugh.
Grace stared down at her tea with a confused look, her reflection in the steaming liquid staring back at her with the same expression. "So , you mean.... I could be a great problem solver?" She glanced up.
Jenna nodded her head, "Kinda, but what I really mean is that your mom was as bad as solving problems as you are, but she still figured out how to get Frank and Len's parents back together!" Grace smiled, seeing a reflection of her mother in her tea replacing hers, a tear trickled down her cheek. Jenna gave her a hug, "Oh baby, it's gonna be alright! It's gonna be alright! Don't worry, your mom is in a better place now!" She soothed, lacing her fingers through the girl's soft brown hair. Grace sniffled and nodded with a faint smile, "Every time I look at myself in the mirror I just wanna cry! And...and every time I look at Skullboy , I just wanna hide in a corner and hate myself!" She blurted, all kinds is emotions building up inside her.
"Man, I just wanna have a good life, but I don't wanna live like this anymore!" Jenna sighed heavily as she poured some more tea in her cup, Grace stared at the tea and thought long and hard. "What would mom do?" After a while, Grace got up, gulped the last of her sweet tea, and said" I'VE GOT IT !", just then Rebecca knocked on the door, Henry whispered to the chocolate brown haired teen" its Rebecca!" Grace looked at Jenna , and her country accent came back up" thank you , Jenna!" Jenna watched as she ran out the back door, Jenna sighed" she's just like her momma!"
Grace walked out of the back door of Henry dark's house, back to her home, she thought" did she really think I was going on vacation again, especially in the middle of this problem, I'm sorry Rebecca I'm gonna take things in my own hands!
Grace had a ninja outfit on(oh Gracie!), saw Rebecca and Jenna and Henry at the pizza place, Jenna put her thumb up(from under the table) , Frank was in a bag in the basement of the house, unconscious, Rebecca waved goodbye and coming toward the end of the street, Grace had her frying pan ready, Rebecca took one step, Grace saw the light brown's head and then......WHACK! Rebecca fell to the dry ground, Grace stuffed Rebecca in a brown bag, and took off. Grace snuck into the basement, Frank was still unconscious, Grace took Frank out of the bag and tied him to a chair, she did the same for Rebecca, then Grace slapped the side of their head and said"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEADS!" Rebecca and Frank slowly woke up to notice they were tied up, Frank looked at Grace" what the heck , Grace?! ....why can't I see anything above or below me? or who's even right next to me,I can only see Rebecca!" Grace did a mischievous look, Rebecca tried to figure out why Frank had that thing over his eye to where he could only see her, then ,she smiled , Grace was gonna try the love potion again! (Meanwhile upstairs...)
Skullboy: I wonder what was in those brown bags Grace was carrying
Ruby: toys
Skullboy: York patties
Iris: dead bodies?
(Everyone pauses and looks at Iris)
Ruby and Skullboy: naaaa
(Now back to the basement)
Rebecca looked at Frank, Frank was so confused, then a scent of coca-cola filled the air. Frank tried to move the chair, but he got bopped on the head by Grace, she said" nu uh uh" later, Grace had a cup of brown liquid in her hand, put to Frank's mouth and said" drink it!" Rebecca bit her lip , in hope it'll work. Frank snatched the cup and gulped it down, thinking it was just coke, Grace pushed Rebecca forward , towards Frank, Frank opened his eyes(he had his eyes closed cause of the taste) and the first thing he saw was ......Rebecca.
Frank looked at her, and just stared, like when Skullboy first saw Grace, Grace untied Frank and Rebecca, Frank immediately kissed Rebecca, Frank looked deeply in Rebecca's eyes, and said" your the most beautiful angel I have ever seen, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, I want to marry you, I want to have kids with you, Rebecca! I LOVE YOU!" Frank pulled Rebecca in for a romantic kiss, and Rebecca just slipped into his enduring love. Grace look at the information on the love potion bottle, she gasped as she read these words" and if the living object drinks the potion, andfalls in love with another living object( Ex.Rebecca) , he/she will tell exactly how he/she feels about the other living object when he/ she wasn't under the love spell" Grace thought" so right now, this instant, Frank is telling Rebecca how he's felt about her all this time(looks down at the bottle) I wonder if I did this to Skullboy,...ok get the brown bag!".....to be continued.
