Chapter 14 - Taken To The Hospital 🚑

May's POV🎐

After the ambulance arrived, I saw the backdoors of the ambulance open and seen 4 medic pokémon come out with a stretcher and then hurry in the house with it as Kunzite kept the door open for them.

"He's right over here!" I called out as Kunzite gestured them to where I'm at.

The medic pokémon came over and then lowered the stretcher down. Two of the medics headed over to Lucas and then started to clean up the blood (that was all over his body) .

Once they cleaned Lucas up, then they gently picked Lucas up and lowered him down on the stretcher before strapping him in.

Me and Kunzite followed after the medics and got in the ambulance too right after the medics got Lucas in the ambulance.

Kunzite's POV 💎

As me and May got in and sat down, I looked over and noticed that May was trembling and had tears in her eyes.

"Hey....It'll be alright. They're doing everything they can to keep Lucas alive until they get him to the hospital..." I said as I started to rub May's back, soothingly.

May sniffed and nodded as she gave me a hug.

"I know, Kunzite....I'm just.....scared. Lucas means a whole lot to me ever since the day when he moved here in Alola Region and met me..." May said as she buried her face in my chest and hugged me a bit more tightly.

"Don't worry...Everything'll be okay. You know Lucas is strong....Right?" I said gently.

May nodded her head.

"Yes...Thank you, Kunzite..." May replied as she looked over at Lucas and sighed.

"Anytime..." I replied back as I rested my head against the vehicle wall.

-Minutes later-

Once we arrived at the hospital, me and May waited out in the lobby for at least a few hours before they letted us in to see how Lucas was doing.

As we entered into the room, the doctor looked over and then nodded her head at us, as she moved the curtains aside, before leaving the room.

After the doctor left, me and May sat down on the chairs (next to the bed) as we looked over at Lucas.

Silence filled the room for a moment as May rested her paw (?) on Lucas's for a bit before we heard a groan coming from Lucas as he slowly moved his head a little, while starting to gain consciousness.

"Nnh? Kunzite? May? Where...am I?" Lucas murmured once he had his eyes fully opened and was fully aware of his surroundings.

"We're at the hospital, Lucas...." I said.

Then I started to explain everything to Lucas what happened before we brought him here.
