"Tae, are you breaking up with me? ", you stared at him. "I don't think I can continue with this.... Whatever this is anymore "
Tears choked your throat as you tried not to cry. "Tae... " "let's not meet again"
A tear slipped down your cheek as you sobbed silently. You had called him earlier to meet up because you had some important news to share with him.
"I'm 2 weeks pregnant Tae... ", you whispered to yourself as you watched him walk away. You continued to sob as you walked away from the cafe.
Your phone rang and you quickly wiped your eyes "hey Jimin ", you answered. "are you crying? " "no, I just have a sore throat " "where are you? "
You turned to look at the cafe's sign "I'm at Coffee Prince " "okay, stay there... I'll be there in a jiffy " You laughed a little and nodded.
Jimin arrived faster than you'd like. "Are you ok", he asked as soon as he saw you
You nodded "I'm fine Jimin... I really am", you assured him He smiled as he brought his face closer to yours. He grabbed your hands and looked deeply into your eyes. "you know that I'll always be by your side right? " You nodded "you know you can trust me hmm? " You nodded again and smiled "I love you y/n"
You gulped. "Jimin... ", you took a deep breath as you prepared yourself to tell him your secret. He stared eagerly at you. "Jimin... I'm pregnant... "
There was dead silence. "Jimin? " "R-really? ", he asked. You nodded "that IS Great?!", he said with a huge smile. He jumped excitedly making you smile. He grabbed you and swiftly kissed you.
He froze afterwards. You bit your lip in embarrassment. "have you told Tae? "
You kept silent "you haven't, have you? " "Tae.... Broke up with me "
He raised a brow. "I couldn't tell him", you gulped "do you plan on telling him? " "I don't know Jimin "
He grabbed your hand and guided you towards his car. He strapped your seatbelt on and kissed your forehead. Jimin took the driver's seat. " I promise I'll be here for you and the baby " "thanks uncle Jimin, baby I'd grateful "
After talking to Jimin, you realised you didn't feel so devastated. You can raise your baby well but you were still confused whether to tell Tae or not.
Maybe later. Or never. Jimin dropped you off in front of your apartment. "thanks Chim" He smiled. "good night baby girl " You waved him goodbye and watched as his car screetched away.
2 months later
You were watching anime with a bowl of popcorn. Your belly was still not showing and Taehyungie had not bothered to call you even once. Guess, he's doing better off without you. You on the other hand miss him everyday. His deep voice, his sleeping face, his husky morning breath, those big ears of his and his amazing smile.
"y/n, did you zone out on me " You pouted at Jimin. "you're so cute", he said squishing your cheeks. He kissed your forehead and you smiled. "y/n-ah?"
You hummed in answer. "won't I do? "
4 months later. "jimin-ah, I want the ribs" You were watching a drama and craving some ribs so you'd called Jimin. Jimin arrived in no time. "what is my princess doing? " "watching a drama" He smiled "alright, who's ready for some ribs?" "Yay.... ", you shouted excitedly Jimin picked you up bridal style and you squealed.
There was a sudden knock and Jimin walked to it. You were still in his arms When the door opened, you froze when you saw Taehyung's face. "Tae? " His face was an unreadable expression. "what are you doing here? ", you asked " I see you're doing well.... " You scrambled out of Jimin's arms. Jimin frowned, "you should be careful y/n, I don't want them baby... "
You quickly covered his mouth and smiled awkwardly. Taehyung raised an eyebrow. His eyes dropped to your belly in suspicion. "Taehyung, what are you doing here? " "can we talk? " You nodded and glanced at Jimin.
Jimin bit the inside of his cheek and nodded. You grabbed Taehyung's arm and pulled him towards the elevator. You pushed the button and stepped inside. He followed behind you. "are you OK? " "yeah", you whispered "Urmmmm.. Are you dating Jimin? ", he asked You stared at his face. "I'm... " "so you are.... Dating him? " You took a deep breath "Tae, why are you here? " "I know we broke up...." "you broke up with me... ", you corrected
He glanced down at his shoes. "this was a bad idea", he whispered.
The elevator doors opened and he walked away. You stood in the elevator confused for a couple of minutes.
When you walked out, you saw Jimin by the door. "what did he want? ", he asked as soon as he saw you. "he didn't say... "
Jimin gritted his teeth in jealousy. "did you tell him about the baby? " You shook your head.
He took a deep breath "I don't want to see him near you" You glanced at Jimin. "Jimin, he's the father of... " "I know... I'm not too happy about that OK? " "Jim.... " He crashed his lips onto yours.
"Y/n?"
You froze when you heard Taehyung's voice. Jimin stepped away from you. In a swift motion, he grabbed Taehyung by the collar and punched him in the face. "stay away from her", Jimin shouted, "if you were man enough to break up with her, be a man and stay away Tae"
You screamed and jumped in between the two. Taehyung's lip was busted and his nose was broken. You pulled Jimin's hands from his collar. "Jimin please... ", you begged A tear slipped down your cheek and Jimin huffed. He walked away leaving you and Taehyungie.
You glanced at Taehyung as his finger slowly brushed the tear from your cheek. An awkward silence followed as he continued to stare into your eyes.
He leaned in closer to you but you took a step back. "come, I'll treat your bruises... ", you whispered as you lead him into your apartment.
He slipped his hand into yours and tried to smile. But he groaned in pain. You glanced at him once again before you entered the kitchen to get the first aid kit.
When you turned back around, you found him standing behind you. He embraced you from behind and kissed the nape of your neck.
"why are you doing this? ", you asked in a shaky voice but he didn't answer.
You thought you heard him whisper something. "I love you "
