Before reading, I highly suggest watching the provided play through of the horror game lurking. It's the best visual representation of how my character sees the world. At least watch part of it so you're aware of how she works.
Stella 'Bat' Moone
Stella was given the nickname 'Bat' because she is blind and navigates the world using a sort of echolocation.
She was born in Kansas but moved to Australia to live with her Aunt after her parents were killed in a drunk driving accident.
She grew up next door to Mick Mundy (Sniper) who took her in as his sister and protected her. Mick was the one who got her a job at the RED base.
This is a version where RED Spy is RED Scout's (Jeremy's) father. Not BLU Scout's. This makes the story flow together better. It's also a version where Spy actually cares about his son and has a somewhat decent relationship with him.
Stella's aunt is abusive and used to beat her for anything. Including being blind. This is why she developed a way to navigate her dark world.
Spy is in his early 40's, Sniper is in his early 30's and Scout is 19. Stella is 23.
Medic is in a relationship (read my other fic The Medic's Angel for more information on that.)
Stella is trained in military combat, as well as close-range combat.
She was hired as a guard to protect the base when the team leaves on missions. This is mainly because she can easily detect Spies. She's a master of stealth if she's familiar with the area because she knows where she can't be seen or heard.
