-Still Spy's POV (pregnancy: 12 weeks)
Finally we landed in my home: Paris. I looked out at the beautiful scenery, wishing I could share it with my love. Luckily, she slept most of the flight here and didn't experience a lot of discomfort. She wore a classy, loose fitting pink shirt and black pants, concealing her baby bump. "'ow do you feel, mon amour?"
"Bien. Un peu malade (a little sick)." She sighed, joining my side with her luggage (and showing off her French).
"Are you sure you can carry zat big bag yourself?"
"Yes love. I'm alright," she laughed, leaning up to kiss my cheek. "Now, where are we staying?"
"A nice little 'otel near my parents' 'ouse." I led her to a waiting taxi, and placed our bags in the back. I quickly joined her side in the back. I looked out the window as we drove, admiring the beauty of France. Stella leaned against me. Though her face seemed happy, yet her eyes seemed...
worried.
"Mon cher? Is somezing wrong?" I tilted her face to meet me.
"I'm just...nervous is all. I'm still not sure about this plan though. It'll be hard to hide the baby for long if they'll be around me all the time." Her hands traced over the small bump that was already forming.
"I know, mon coeur. I'm sorry my family is so..."
"Strict?" She finished for me.
"Oui." I sighed, pulling her closer to me. "We will only 'ide zem until after ze ceremony."
She breathed out, closing her eyes. "Are we almost there? I don't know how much longer I can stand being in an enclosed space." She groaned in discomfort.
"Nearly zere. Just a little longer." I cooed to her.
Soon, the taxi finally came to a halt in front of a large, lavish hotel. I quickly paid the driver and got our bags from the trunk. Stella clung to my arm, motion sickness making her dizzy and disoriented. "Why don't you go sit down, while I check us in?" She nodded, sitting down on a couch in the lobby and playing with her rubix cube.
(Anything in another language will be written in italics because I'm too lazy to keep translating everything)
"Hello! How can I help you?" The nice lady at the front seat greeted me.
"I have a room reserved for Laurent Beaumont." I hated saying my real name.
"Ah yes! I see you've reserved the honeymoon suite! Special occasion?" She giggled, typing on her computer.
"Actually, it is. I'm getting married to the love of my life." I glanced over to Stella, who's face was scrunched in frustration at the toy in her hands.
"Well congratulations!" She opened a drawer and pulled out a set of hotel room keys. "Here you are. Your suite is in the far back, room 450. Thank you and enjoy your stay!"
"Thank you miss." I nodded, returning to Stella. "Shall we, mon amour?" She smiled at my voice, placing the infuriating cube back into her bag and followed me to the room.
The room was perfect! A large, fluffy (yet sturdy) bed laid in the center, decorated a white canopy. In the bathroom was a roomy two person jacuzzi tub with an assortment of bath salts and oils. In the corner was a fully stocked minibar (not that we need it). I set our bags aside and guided Stella to the bathroom. I could tell that she was worn out by the trip.
"Let me run you a baz, mon coeur. You've 'ad a long day." I softly kissed her forehead and began running the water.
"The bath is big enough for two." She purred, kissing just behind my ear. "I wouldn't mind the company." I smiled, tossing in lavender scented bath salts and wrapping her in my arms. Her giggles filled the room, and my heart as I attacked her with a flurry of kisses all over her pretty face.
Once the bath filled, we undressed and stepped into the warm water. She leaned back against my chest, our fingers intertwining. My free hand roamed her body, admiring its flawless surface. A soft, content smile graced her pink lips. I couldn't help but kiss them.
"Aww. What was that for?" She mused breathlessly.
"Just admiring your beauty. I couldn't 'elp myself."
"You're such a romantic sap sometimes." She joked, pulling me into another gentle kiss. "This is perfect." She sighed, settling back into my chest. I pulled her closer, kissing the crown of her head.
"You're perfect." I purred, nuzzling into her. She giggled tiredly, reaching up and caressing my cheek.
We relaxed in comfortable silence until the water turned cold. She sighed. Slowly sliding out of the tub and wrapping herself in a fluffy towel. "C'mon. I wanna cuddle in bed before we have to go meet your family." She stepped back into the bedroom as I was draining the tub. After changing back into my casual clothes, I turned to face her.
She smiled up at me, dressed in a soft orange dress and her face clad in my usual red balaclava. "Look, love. I'm you!" She giggled like a child, playfully sneaking around. "Better watch out!" I laughed at her silliness, pretending to look around for her.
"Now, where did Stella go? I could 'ave sworn she was right 'ere!" I paced around the room, looking behind curtains and under the bed. "Oh where could my love be?" She giggled, wrapping her arms around my waist from behind.
"Backstab!~" She purred into my ear. "You're dead now."
"Oh no! I've been betrayed!" I smirked, turning around and falling onto the bed, trapping her under me.
"Ahh! Laurent!" She laughed, squirming under me. "You're gonna crush me!"
"I can't move, mon amour. I'm dead."
She wiggles more, finally managing to escape my prison. "You're a butt." (An actual insult I use daily) She teased. I sat up, pulling her into my chest.
"I'm sorry, mon petit assassin." I teased back, pulling the mask off her face. "You're just too cute to resist." I smirked and nuzzled into her neck, placing soft kisses.
We laid back, cuddling under the soft blankets. Her content smile struck something in my heart. I couldn't get enough of this sweet little woman. She cuddled into my chest, closing her eyes with a soft yawn. "I'm gonna take a little cat nap." She murmured into my chest.
"Rest, mon coeur. I'll wake you when we need to leave." I softly kissed her forehead, letting her sleep.
"I love you, Laurent." She whispered softly.
"I love you more, Stella."
