"Wake up, you lazy beasts!" a familiar call rang through the many walls of the cave Okka slept in.

This, however, wasn't a rarity. All Animorphs slept in this cave. A deep, old, mining cave that barely had functioning lights, let alone comfort. Okka sat up, his earrings jingling with his bell collar. He looked towards the entrance to the cave, his eyes adjusting to the dawn's light. He hiss under his breath at the sight of the heavily  armed guards. They always showed their stupid human mugs when the sun rose. Okka hopped down from the little ledge he usually slept on and approached the guards to wait and be escorted to the human town.

"What's up... Richard? You new?" Okka asked, noticing a new face behind the face guards.

"Shut up, filthy animal." The guard replied, dryly.

Okka sighed, leaning against a wall. Okka was one of the few mixed breed Animorphs. His mother was a deer and raised him until her eventual death while working, his father... well he had to be a cat, Okka was a Kitty-Deer, but he never met or found out anything about him. Okka stood about 5'6", his hooves adding a few inches to his height, with grey-white hair that was wild and unkempt even though he kept it tied back in a pony tail. He had slick, black fur with vibrant blue accents on his ear, chin, paws, and tail. His tail looked similar to a lions tail, with a slick black tail leading to a puff of blue and black. He had two, small antlers that were still developing since he was still only 19.

"The free ride to town is leaving in 10 fucking seconds! Hurry up, you dumb beasts!" One guard called, approaching the truck.

Okka followed, his thin, yet toned, body easily allowing him to catch up to the guard. Many other Animorphs followed, all ending up crammed into a small military jeep. Okka peered through a hole in the cloth of the jeep, watching as they entered the gleaming human city. Once inside, most of the Animorphs would stand and wait to see if they got work or didn't. Okka, luckily, had a set job. He was a servant to a high ranking member of the human society, a mayor or something, though Okka didn't really understand why they need him since there was a President, but it payed well and he was normally treated nicely so he didn't complain too much.

The jeep slowed to a halt in time square, a big park with a huge stage for buying Temporary Animorph Servants, TAS. Okka was a PAS, or Permanent Animorph Servant. He and the other PAS were told to exit the Jeep and head their assignments. Okka complied but he heard a commotion behind him as he left, someone must have tried to escape. BANG! A gunshot. Yup. They tried. He looked behind him and choked slightly, vomit welling in his throat. There, on the hot pavement, laid a young grey wolf Animorph, with her head busted open and her brains splattered onto the floor. He quickly broke his gaze and continued on his path.

"Just get to your assignment. Just get to work." He kept whispering to himself to keep from doing something stupid.

He walked to the City Hall that stood in the Square. He walked in and showed his ID as a worker despite being an Animorph and he walked to the Mayor's office, sitting in a small animal bed that 'Was perfect for such a pretty cat like, yourself' as the Mayor said. Okka waited and completed his tasks as a robot would, his mind stuck on the pleading eyes of the Wolf Animorph. The Mayor received a call and told Okka to stay next to him as his Show Pet, a type of Animorph meant to show off how rich you are, it's the only reason the Mayor chose Okka. He looked nice. The Mayor attached a small leash to Okka's collar, leading him to the corrections facility in another part of City Hall. When they approached, they found a human with his face covered in bruises and cuts, despite this, the guy was still smiling. He had a confident grin and and determined gaze aimed at the two way mirror. Okka studied him, bewildered by him. He wasn't like other humans, he had Animorph eyes.
