I've been wanting to do this forever, but my lazy ass said otherwise. Also, sorry if this doesn't have anything to do with the sports festival. Let's have fun, shall we!
☘Izuku Midoriya☘
You finished up the cavalry battle, winning first place with your team! After your competitive high, you began to feel guilty about betraying Midoriya. Even when they announced he made it to the next event, you still felt bad.
Once you got done congratulating your team, you quickly searched the area for your green haired friend. However, it was proving to be quite difficult.
'Come on, his hair is as big as a broccoli top. Why is it so hard to spot him??' You questioned yourself mentally. It took a while, but you eventually spotted him heading towards the arena's exit. 'Target acquired.'
You sprinted in his direction, determined to catch him before he goes to get lunch.
"Deku! Wait!" You called out to him. Midoriya heard your voice and turned around to face your running figure. You smiled when he looked at you, but that alone was enough to distract you from stopping yourself before crashing into him. You let out small 'oof' as you wrapped your arms around Midoriya's neck swiftly to support yourself from falling.
"Whoops! Sorry about that, Deku." You grinned sheepishly at him. However, your grin turned into a nervous smile once you saw his pink face. But then you remembered how awkward he was around females.
"I-I-I-It's okay!" Your friend sputtered out, going out of his way not to make eye contact with you. You unravled yourself from him quickly, making him feel slightly calmer.
"Anyways, I just wanted to apologize for leaving you in the dust before the cavalry battle. I guess my competitive spirit blinded me from our friendship." You apologized.
"It's okay, (L/N). Honestly, if it were the other way around, I would probably do the same to you." He explained in an attempt to make you feel better, but you knew he didn't mean it. Even though you guys knew each other for a short time, you knew he wasn't the type of person to do that.
"No you wouldn't. You're too kind to do that kind of thing. Thank you though." You retorted, catching him off guard as you grabbed both of his hands. "We're still friends, right?"
"O-Of course!" Midoriya said, blushing once again, but not as bad as he did beforehand.
"That's good!" You exclaimed, smiling brightly. He couldn't help but smile back. However, the moment came to an abrupt end as your cell phone started ringing. "Oh! Sorry, just give me a sec." You released his hands and reached into your pocket, taking out your (F/C) phone. As you read the caller ID, you stared at the device in concern. "You should go eat before it's too late, Deku. I'll be there in a bit."
Your tone was low and filled with worry. Midoriya wanted to ask what was wrong, but he didn't want to pry incase it was really personal, so he just nodded and walked out of the stadium. Once he was a few feet away, you answered the phone call. (Underline = Caller)
"Hello?"
"Good evening, is this (L/N) (Y/N)?"
"Yes. You're (B/F/N)'s doctor, correct?"
"Yes ma'am. I'm calling to inform you about (B/F/N)'s condition, since their parents aren't in a good mental state to do so."
"Why? Are they alright? What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry, this is very hard for me to say, so I'll just say it quickly. I regret to inform you that (B/F/N)'s liver gave out on them this morning. We tried everything we could, but we couldn't save them in time. I'm sorry."
