Anwar's POV
During the nikah, I couldn't help but stifle a laugh at Ahmad's evident nervousness. His perspiring forehead and anxious demeanor were quite amusing. I couldn't fathom what could possibly make him so fearful of getting married.
A few minutes later, Ahmad, myself, and the guys hopped into our cars and drove to Haseena's house, where he would finally meet his bride. I shared a car with Ahmad, Fadil, and Bello, with me behind the wheel, Fadil occupying the passenger seat, and Bello and Ahmad sitting in the back. Sadiq accompanied Sanusi and Bashir.
"Man, you were sweating buckets earlier, it was absolutely hilarious," Fadil chuckled, teasing Ahmad, who had been grinning like a blissful goat.
"Nothing you say today will bother me, dude, so don't even try," Ahmad responded, his excitement growing by the minute as he anticipated meeting his wife.
"Who said I was trying to bother you?" Fadil shrugged, pretending innocence.
"Come on, don't lie. You were incredibly nervous," I playfully taunted.
"Alright, I just remembered something, Anwar. What's the deal between you and Saudah? I caught you exchanging glances," he raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying his newfound advantage.
"No way, man. Don't tell me she's already fallen for you," Fadil asked, wide-eyed.
"What's wrong with that? She couldn't resist my charms. I mean, who wouldn't fall for me? And Ahmad, just so you know, I genuinely like her. I think she's the one for me," I honestly confessed. I truly had feelings for her and envisioned a future together.
"Finally! Allah has shown us the day Anwar admits he's interested in someone," Bello exaggeratedly exclaimed, dramatically sighing, while I rolled my eyes. These guys were beyond belief.

Stunned.
"Stunned" was the only word that could capture how I felt when I saw the most stunning girl I had ever laid my eyes upon descending the staircase. She already outshone the bride in my eyes. My jaw dropped, unable to find words to describe her beauty. She was radiant with a smile that could light up the room. She walked with confidence, seemingly even more beautiful than the day before.
Her smile remained as she handed Haseena's hand to a speechless Ahmad.
"Prince Charming, the knight in shining armor, has finally met his Cinderella," Fadil teased, causing Saudah to turn her head. Our eyes met briefly before she quickly looked away and took a seat next to her sister, Falisha.
"Just look at her, man. I'm at a loss for words. I need to get her number as soon as possible," Fadil said, gazing at Saudah's sister.
"And what about this one?" Sadiq asked Fadil, who was now drooling over Saudah's sister.
"Forget it. What's her name, by the way?" he asked, addressing no one in particular.
"Lover boy!! So, you don't even know her name? Smooth move, dude," Bashir laughed, and we all joined in while Fadil shot us a deadly glare.
"I hate you all," Fadil said, crossing his arms in anger and huffing, while we continued to laugh.
"Her name is Falisha. She's 19 years old, studying at UEL Malaysia. She's the youngest daughter of the Sayhan family. Her siblings refer to her as 'Mommy's handbag.' She's pampered, but not spoiled. She's actually super sweet," I shrugged, while
the guys stared at me wide-eyed.
"How?" Fadil managed to ask, his only question, causing me to smirk.
"I told you, didn't I? I like her," I gestured towards Saudah.
"Forget what I said earlier. Fadil isn't the lover boy; Anwar, you are the lover boy," Bashir blinked his eyes.
"Sometimes, you really scare me," Sanusi shook his head.
"Who are you?" Sadiq asked, disbelief evident in his voice.
"I'm in love," I said, smiling and leaning back in my chair, receiving playful smacks from the guys.
I chuckled and noticed Saudah standing up.
"Saudah, where are you going?" Haseena asked her.
"Oh, so you finally remember me now, after being lost in a loving trance with your husband," Saudah playfully mocked.
"Come on, in-law," Ahmad smiled at her, causing her to shake her head with amusement.
"I'm just going to look around for the photographer. I have no idea where he is," she said, heading out. Just then, the photographer walked in, and Saudah exchanged pleasantries with him.
The photographer seemed unusually friendly towards her, perhaps too friendly. I needed to find out what was going on between them as soon as possible.
Throughout the photoshoot, I couldn't help but notice how Saudah and Farhan, the photographer, kept conversing and smiling at each other.
What was really happening between them?
