Pt.7: gotta say hi

Lena pov

Not long after we've arrived at the hall, the event starts with a performance. I can see all of my staffs enjoying it. I don't know all of them but just a few like James. I didn't pay attention when the music starts but, can't help to see it when the girl start singing.

Beautiful voice, ocean blue eyes, dark green dress like mine, the confidence when she's singing the song. Never into this kind of song but I'm gonna find it later.

She notices me looking at her and smile while doing her cute dancing moves. 'Cute? You're barely know her Lena. How do you know she's cute?' Well I guess I gotta say hi to her later.  'Hi? Why? To thank her for her performance, duhh.. okay, get over it Lena, you might be start talking to yourself later."

After the show

The emcee start the speech about L-Corp history and then they call my grandfather to give some speech.

"With that being said, I introduce you to the new CEO of L- Corp, the Luthor next generation, my only granddaughter...Lena Luthor." Well, I guess that's my que and people start cheering.

"Hi, how are you guys? I won't say much tonight because I know everyone here is hungry because so am I. A special thanks to Mr. Jonathan, for believe and trust me to handle his company that he worked very hard for it to be on top. I also hope that we can work together more in the future to make this company to be better. A company is nothing without its support, so thank you to all of you who spend half of your life an time on this company. I can't thank you enough for that but I hope we'll stay together as family. Thank you." All of the staff start clapping and proceed with the dinner.

Kara pov

She's the new CEO?! She's Mr. Jonathan granddaughter?! Gosh, I shouldn't have to stared at her for so long before. Now I embarrassed. From what i've seen during her speech, she does have some sense of humor and better yet, she had Mr. Jonathan personality which is kind and caring about their staff. I am proud to be working on this company.

Alex pov

Talking through her comm "alpha team, seeing something suspicious about the black BMW 5 series?" One of the team reply "the car was just passing by the back door. He said he needs to use a bathroom real quik. Just a regular theme park customers."

'Just a regular theme park customers? But the theme park already announced that they will close for this night in every single social media, even the news.' I don't feel right. I see the event almost come to an end because Lena already cut her cake. I talked to Jonn.

"Jonn, something smell fishy."

"Alright, you try to stay close to the client. Team, stand by to every single doors and windows in case something happens."

I see a man wearing a white suit, in a crowded but not have a happy face as the rest. I started to call Kara's phone luckily she picked up while I'm heading to Lena and Mr. Jonathan.

"I need you to go close to the CEO, NOW!"

"Why? There is to many people, its crowded. Plus, I'm nobody."

"You're my sister, not nobody. I'm going to both of you. Go! now..!"
