Pt. 13: LENAAAAA!!

After recess
James pov

"Hey Kara... Can I ask you some questions?"

"If it is not about asking me to be your girlfriend, go ahead..."

"Wow, hate me that much huh? Anyway,  how long have you known Lena?"

"Our boss?"

"Who else...?"

"Since that dinner party... she just wanted to say thank you for saving her and her Mr. Jonathan... If it wasn't because of Alex, they might've gotten hurt.. So, they offered me to go home with them that night while I waited and rest, for Alex to finish her job and pick me."

"You went to her house??!" No one ever go to her house.

"No, not hers, Mr. Jonathan house... Alex had arranged the ride so we just followed."

"I see..."

"Why James? Is something wrong?"

"No, not at all... It's just that... She doesn't have many friends... I 've known her for 3 years and we've been going out for only, maybe 4,5 times.. just to eat.."

"So, you're saying that I shouldn't be friend with her?"

"No, please don't misunderstand... what I mean is, if you wanna be friend with her, be her real friend. Not just because she own a company, a young female billionaire... If she trusts you, she trust you with her life... After what happened with her family, she keeps on building a wall around her.. It's hard to see her with other people except for her grandfather... Lucky she doesn't inherit her mother and brother behavior..."

"So much I don't know about her... what happened with her mother and brother?"

"It's not my place to say anything.. well maybe if she trusts you enough, she'll tell you later..."

"Thank you, James... I appreciate it.."

"Uhh Kara.." maybe next time I offer to send her back home.

"Yes?"

"Nothing... bye Kara.."

A few hours later
Kara POV

After my work is done, I want to call Alex but my battery is dead. So I guess, I just have to wait. About 10 minutes past and now it just left me and other guy from other park waiting for someone to pick us up. Then I hear a motorcycle sound, I thought it was Alex but it is his ride. Nevermind, I just keep waiting.

Alex POV

11:45pm already? Damn it, Kara would be so piss at me again today. About all the time they have, why they choose 11pm when I have to pick up my sister? 'Shooting and running...' I have to call her and only hear the operator speaking "...the person you call is not available. Plea..." shoot a guy at the right hand.

"Come on Kara..." calls again and same mailbox. Now Jonn speaks through the comm.

"Alex, stay focus!"

"Yes, sir..!"

Lena POV

I quite miss this park a little bit today, maybe because I went here quite sometime and bringing back memories when I was working here so, I made a sharp turn to go to the L- Park. This is the time where people start going back home and the lights will be off one by one section..

When I'm about to pass the gate, I saw a girl sitting there alone and that girl is Kara. I park my car and walk towards her.

"Kara? Are you waiting for someone?"

"Lena.. yeah, waiting for my sister. I wanna call her but my battery is dead... What are you doing here?"

"I just at the area... come let me send you home..."

"Uhhh, that's okay, I'll just wait for Alex.. Maybe she just finish her job.."

"I insist... A girl waiting here alone, anything could happen... come, you can charge your phone in the car and call your sister that I will drop you off tonight..."

"Okay... 1 minutes, I tell the security to tell Alex that I going back home with you if she come here later.."

"Alright, I'll be waiting at the car."

When she get in the car, I give her the usb cable to charge her phone. When we're about to drive off, I hear her stomach growling and she looks at me innocently with her sheepish smile.

"Hungry?"

"No, not really..."

"Yeah, tell that to your belly... Where do you want to eat?"

"Home. I'm bothering you enough.."

"Kara......" I sound like about to angry and she's answer right away. Hahaha how cute is that..

"McDonald! Don't get mad at me...!"

"I don't get mad at you!"

"You said 'Kara....' Alex will call me like that when she's angry at me...!

"I'm not mad at you, I just want to make you decide where are we going to eat because now I'm driving without directions!"

"Then why are you yelling at me..?"

"You started to yell first... 'McDonald! Don't get mad at me~" I can't help but laugh at her when she hug herself and looks outside the window.

"Shut up Lena Luthor..."

"Alright, Alright.... Stop sulking, I'll get you a happy meal later... How's that sound?" She turns to looks at me with big smiles on her face.

"That's sound so good. I heard they have new sets of hello kitty that come with the set."

"Really Kara? What are you? 5?" Now her face change to angry again, I can't help but laugh.

"LENAAAAAA!!" She lightly slaps my arm.
