Annika's point of view
A week passed by so easily,I never knew my life would be like this. I'm getting married to Shivaay Singh Oberoi day after tomorrow.
Today there will be Haldi and mehandi (turmeric and henna , they are ceremonies , mostly done in northern Indian weddings)
I heard the door ring.
I went there, my house is completely decorated and dadi came to me and I open the door and saw Kalyani dadi ,she had serving plate sort of thing in her hand which is covered by cloth and behind there were some maids who had the same thing in their hands.
"Aao Kalyani andar aao (come, come inside)"Leela dadi says
"Ji(yes)"Kalyani dadi reply
The maids and Kalyani dadi gets inside
"Yeh Shagun ka samaan hain , yeh kaha rakhna hain(this is the token of luck , where should I keep this) "Kalyani dadi says
Dadi showed a table and Kalyani dadi and the maids kept it there
"Isme laal rang wali main tumhari shaadi ka kapda hain aur Peela main gehne (in the red one it contains the dress for the wedding and yellow contains the ornaments)"Kalyani dadi explains
"Dhanyavad dadi (thank you)"I say
"Dadi aapko peene -Khaane mein kya chahiye (what do you need for eat-drink)"Gauri asks
"Tumne sahi poocha Gauri , humne tho yeh bhool diya that( you asked the right thing ,we all forgot it)"dadi says
"Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye , mujhe ghar jaakar bahot kaam hain(I don't need anything , I got of jobs left in home)"Kalyani dadi says
"Par dadi(but)"Gauri says
"Agli Baar , hum ab chalte hain(next time now you are going)"Kalyani dadi says
"Ji(yes)"I reply
"Ab mein chalte hain ( now I am going)"she says
Kalyani dadi leaves with the maids
Haldi ceremony
"Di I can't believe aaj aapke Haldi phir Mehandi phir .. ..."Gauri said
"Humme aaj aur kal hain , utna der saath Hain Naya yaadein Jeevan bhar ke liye bana sakthi hoon(we have today and tomorrow ,this much time, get together we can make new memories for whole life to remember)"I reply
"Aap bade Shayar types Nikli (you turned into a very poetry type person)"Gauri says
"Gauri tum tho , hum kya keh sakthe hain (Gauri , you are, what can I say)"I say
"Didi aap Jaane ke baat kon mujhe home work mein help karenge ( sister after your gone who help me in my homework)"Sahil asks
"Gauri haina (Gauri is there)"I reply
"Mujhe tum yaad aayenge (I'll miss your)"Sahil says
"Mujhe bhi(I'll too)"I say and hug sahil
"Aap dono mujhe bhul Gaya(you both forgot me)"asked Gauri
"Aao yaha (come here)"I say and we three hug
Haldi ceremony started.
A lot of people came to me applied Turmeric on me. I looked so yellow now .
I saw Kalyani dadi and Priyanka coming towards me and apply Haldi on me
"Bhabhi aap bahut khoobsurat hain (sister-in-law you look very beautiful)"Priyanka says
"Dhanyavad tum bhi bahut khoobsurat hain( thank you a lot You too look very beautiful)"I reply
The day went great today
Mehandi
Tomorrow wedding then a life with Shivaay Singh Oberoi . I'm currently moving into a nightmare . Someone save me .
I am currently sitting and putting mehandi and my mind is wandering into some where , I'm getting married tomorrow I have me rights on wandering and thinking about life especially it's Shivaay Singh Oberoi
"Didi , aapki pati ki Naam (sister your husband's name)"the Mehandi putting girl asked
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi"I reply
"Dhanyavad didi"she said
I saw the Oberoi 's entering the house and dadi and Priyanka walking towards me
"Bhabhi mehandi aapke jaise bahut khoobsurat hain (sister-in-law the henna is just as beautiful as too)"Priyanka says
"Iske rang kitna acha utna acha hogi , iske baad Shivaay uska Naam tere haat me doondna padega(how much the colour is good nice would be the relationship after this he would have to find his name in your hand) "Kalyani dadi says
"Ji dadi"I reply
"Shivaay , find your name in my hand , I have better things to do after this"
"Me too"he says and points his name , he's good
"Bye"
"Bye"
Best I wished I could write more today , I am not feeling well today and that's why it's so small update
