“Don’t forget a bathing suit” Brian said through the speaker of Ripley’s phone.
“Dude, you can’t keep me out of the water! Of course, I’m bring bathing suits” Ripley said with a laugh
“Forgot hahaha sorry. Oh and bring a sweater and some warm clothes for just in case” Brian said
“Don’t worry I’ll be fine. I’ll remember to bring everything” Ripley said writing down everything she’s going to be bringing
“I know that. I’m just really excited” Brian said
“Well that’s one of us” Ripley said
“You’re not excited?” Brian asked and Ripley could hear the hurt in his voice.
“Oh bebe, I didn’t mean it like that. Yes I’m excited. I would be retarded if I wasn’t; it’s just that I’m nervous as well. I’m going to be seeing people I haven’t seen in 10 years; people who were basically my second family and I basically abandoned and forgotten them for 10 years. I just don’t want them to hate me” Ripley explained
“You might’ve stopped talking to them but your parents didn’t; they still talk to us and them. And your parents always told us what you were up to. They just never told us where you lived. So like I said before you were like an invisible friend that we all shared” Brian said
“Yea” Ripley simply said
“Okay, stop thinking about that and just think about the fact that you’ll be spending two weeks with me. I’ll be waiting for you outside in my car. I’ll be right outside the door. And Jimmy invited himself and he said he made a sign that he’s going to stick in the window. Is it alright if I don’t actually go into the airport?” Brian asked
“Yea, I understand. As long as you are there to pick me up, I’m good” Ripley said
“Trust me. I’ll be there, with Jimmy, to pick you up” Brian said
“Okay” Ripley said with a chuckle
“Oh and you might want your own shampoo” Brian said
“I know that. Don’t worry, if anything comes to worse we can just go to the store and I can leave it at your house” Ripley said
“Right, did not think of that” Brian said with a chuckle
“It’s okay. Anyway, so Ravyn’s dropping me off at the airport. And she’ll send me the club’s sales so I can work but I’ll do that in the morning. If I do it each day when I wake up, it should take me at most 20 minutes” Ripley said
“So you’ll be working? Can’t Ravyn do that while you’re away?” Brian asked
