Chapter five: New life

I never knew that after Luke moved I would never talk to him again.. ever..

I wonder what happened to his band, I wonder what happened to his dream, I wonder if he remembered me.

The first 2 months Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael tried to keep in touch with me. 

But after that there was nothing to talk about and we just split.

Plus I had other friends that got closer because I wasn't spending so much time with them.

4 years later

Now I am a 18 year old struggling with studying. I hate having to learn all this dumb science stuff. Ugh, I sigh as I sit down on the sofa with my laptop. I plug my ear buds in ,my phone and turn on the radio. I put my phone next to me and pull up the essay document I was working on my laptop.

It was late May of 2014,and I always hated May. It's like that point of where it's almost summer.. BUT IT'S NOT. I turn on my phone and realize the radio was so damn boring. My room mate walked in as I pulled up YouTube to search a song up. 

"What's going on asshole?" My room mate, Allison greats me with a dirty face. 

Her dark red hair rested right below her shoulders. Her winged eyeliner was always on point as well as her outfits. She was very slim and tall. I wish I was pretty as her, she was also very smart.

"shut the f uck up, Allison. You're seriously still mad at me for what happened last night?!?!?" I roll my eyes flicking my long brown hair behind m shoulders. I rub my eyes and continue working.

Allison ignores me as she sits right next to me on the couch. 

"What the hell are you listening to?" She asks putting her hair behind her ear.

I look up to her eyes. "None of your business"

Allison took my phone like she was allowed to and started going on to the popular uploads.

"hmm lets see what vevo music videos are popular..." Allison talks to herself.

She picks a random song that was always played on the radio..

but I never knew what the title was.

I hum along with Allison as the next song of the vevo music video play list continues.

It starts out really fun and is totally a type of song I would get stuck in my head ALL DAY.

"Hmm, I've heard this song before a couple times. It's my jam, this band is popping up recently, what is there band called again its--"

I cut Allison with a smile.

" I WANNA GUESS!!!" I smile like a 4 year old jumping up and down.

"Okay.. but like they've never really been out there.. it's like a new band. REAL NEW." Allison says with a smile like this is a really fun game.

"It sounds like One direction?? But that's not new.." I guess trying to hear the voices. Every boy singer/boy band sounds like one direction to me. Probably because I listen to One Direction too much. But the voices were different.. but the voice seemed so damn familiar.

"Allison.. it's so weird. It sounds so familiar, the voice of the chorus.. but I don't know" I frown putting my hands down with a sad puppy face.

"hahaha, you didn't guess it Carmen!!!!" Allison blasted out laughing. "Give up?"

I nod my head waiting in excitement. 

"It's called She's So Perfect by 5 seconds of summer!!" Allison laughs joyfully.

Allison turns around to me waiting for me to say something fun or something.

"Your look pale as hell. You don't like the song anymore??" She asks.

I look at her with wide eyes. I take a deep breathe trying to calm down the shock.

"I know who 5 seconds of summer is."

That sucked so freakin bad like it was so obvious it was 5sos. I'm so dumb. I was trying to make it like shock to you guys but you guys were probably like

I COULD SO SEE THAT COMING. WOW WHAT A DORK. :((
