Chapter 5 Mum

The next day Jake was getting ready to go to his mum's house, but he was scared of going because he hasn't seen her since he was four years old.

But Adam said I could come with you if you are feeling a bit scared to go by yourself and he said sure you could come, but don't wear your police uniform otherwise, my mum will think that I have been to prison. And Adam said look I promise I won't tell.

But as they were on their way I said you do know that my mum is not in the UK you do have to go on a ship to reach her country, and Adam said I left my passport behind it's at my house.

So they quickly go to Adam's house, and they find his passport and head back on the bus to the harbour. But when they got there. There was no ship in sight.

So Adam said do you know how long we have to wait for the Ship to arrive And I said every 30 Minutes, And I said you do know you need to wear a Dingle Bracelet. And this wristband could save your life if the Ship capsizes.

Because we are now in 2023 and life jackets, no longer exist for boats they are only on Airplanes so that's why we wear the Dingle Wristband because that could save anyone's life if they are in trouble.

So finally the Ship Arrives, and they jump on but as they were getting on Jake's phone starts ringing, and it was Dad, and he said where are you, Jake, it's 6 PM, and he told Dad I have gone to see mum in Athens for a bit. Is that OK, and he said sure, and I do hope you make it back safe.
