The Postman
A package was here, but was it mine? Maybe or maybe not.
The trees were significant; the trees were small, small puddles and big puddles.
The ground was dry; the ground was wet. I just stared out my window every day watching the snow falling on the ground, and I was bored it was. Lockdown, we were stuck inside just watching the snow.
The postman came and knocked on our door; it can't be ours.
The package was blue it said Adam wale on it, he was my school friend, why did he send this package here? The postman was confused.
He showed me the form it said it was for me; I wished I was out there right now with the postman, so I asked my mum, can I be a postman one day I asked? Maybe she said when the lockdown was over.
I could hear her chopping the carrots into the bowl, it must be dinner she's cooking or maybe its lunch, but I had a lock on my door I wasn't allowed out until it was ready.
The snow was getting heavier, couldn't take this anymore I had to get out of this country.
So I carefully opened the door without setting off the alarm; otherwise, my parents would wake up?
And you never want to mess with them, so we were in BOWLVALE And I had to get on the next bus available, but the next bus wasn't until 07:12, and that was too long to wait because that when mum goes to work, and she works on the buses, but hopefully she isn't driving my van.
So I prayed for luck that she wasn't driving my bus.
