Taehyung was confused when he spoke to Jeongguk and felt a weird feeling as if something was dragging him to the younger one. He shook off the feeling but it didn't go away.

To distract himself from this, he threw himself into work, to be precise, in the drawing of his project. He had decided to help Jeongguk and buy the piece of land. Maybe this would also be an opportunity to find out why he feels so strange in his presence.

Jeongguk had saved him but it wasn't as if it was gratitude, it was more like ... affection, he was excited at the he thought of seeing him again.

With a smile on his face he continued his drawing. He now had Jeon Jeongguk's number and could reach him anytime.

Namjoon and Seokjin noticed that Taehyung was more involved in his work than usual and were proud that their younger brother finally took the job seriously.

They all sat at the table at dinner when the topic came up. "Tae, what are you working on?" Seokjin looked up after asking him and caught Taehyung blushing.

He exchanged a look with Namjoon, who obviously saw it too. Taehyung, however, was unaware and smiled. "I have plans to build a park in the forest area, a nature park with rare plants, which almost no longer exist here with us. I had someone in my office today and he made me an offer which could make my dream come true." He was so proud of himself and everyone could see it.

"That's awesome Tae! Did you do a background check? I mean the person who submitted the offer to you, you know, there are a lot of people who just pretend to own something and sell it with fake documents."
Unfortunately, Namjoon knew exactly what Seokjin was talking about, it was exactly what happened to him when he had to manage his first big job.

Taehyung shook his head. "Not yet, but I'll do that before I see him again, I just want to finish the drawing first because it's already in my head and I don't want to forget it while I'm checking him out. I-I mean, make a background check!"

The older brothers nodded understandingly, ignoring the first sentence and continuing their dinner with smalltalk.

Taehyung had always been very conscious of nature and loved everything that had to do with it. Namjoon and Seokjin were more focused on profitable projects in the company and therefore not very worried about Taehyung's non profit project, as long as it made him happy, it would make everyone happy.

When the youngest went to bed he suddenly had a headache and moaned. It wasn't the usual pain, it was more like ... As if someone was trying to get into his head, if that made any sense.

After a few minutes, he heard a familiar voice moan his name but he couldn't assign that voice. It was muffled, as if someone had a pillow over his face.

Maybe he was just too exhausted and already had delusions, so he decided to just fall asleep and forget about it. After all, it was a long and exhausting day.

A week passed without further incidents. Taehyung had completed his drawing and was now on the Internet in search of Jeon Jeongguk. It was very difficult to find out about him. Very difficult, but he wouldn't be Taehyung if he would give up now!

He dialed the younger's phone number and after a few rings, a sleepy voice answered. "Jimin hyung, why do you wake me up at this time, I had my nocturnal run last night, you know that the next day I won't be able to wake up until late afternoon!" Taehyung didn't interrupt Jeongguk's rambling, he was too curious what he meant by 'nocturnal run'.

Jeongguk groaned when he got no response and it triggered something in Taehyung that he had never felt before. "Jimin what the hell, why are you ignoring me now, are you in heat, do I have to come over and help you out? I know that I owe you at least two orgasms." Jeongguk chuckled and Taehyung's eyes widened. Did he just hear that right? Heat, orgasms?

He was about to hang up and pretend that this conversation had never happened, but a curse kept him from doing so." Fuck! Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't pay attention to the caller name! Mister Kim, Oh my god, I don't know how ... Uh I was just joking, Jimin and I are always fooling around." Jeongguk was panicking. Kim Taehyung had heard that he and Jimin were doing things together so he tried to downplay it.

Taehyung thought back to the conversation they had a week ago and sighed. "Mister Jeon, you don't have to apologize, I know you have a fiancé and we're both old enough to do such things, especially with a partner you're going to marry someday."

Jeongguk frowned. What was Taehyung talking about? "Engaged? I'm not engaged, Jimin is just a good friend of mine."

Taehyung said nothing, he was confused, hadn't Jeongguk told him that he needed to get back to his fiancee? Had he misunderstood it then? "Oh, I thought you mentioned it in our conversation a week ago, then I probably got it wrong, my mistake, I'm sorry."

Jeongguk startled, now that Taehyung mentioned it, he remembered again. Bloody hell! One mistake after another happened to him! How he wished that it was just a nightmare. "O-oh umm. I ... I, yes you must have got it wrong haha." He laughed in frustration.

"I understand, it's not that important though, why I'm actually calling is that I've finished my drawing and I want to arrange a new meeting with you, but I haven't found anything about you on the internet and there's a lot of money in it. I'm very skeptical, I hope you understand my request and give me a self-assessment." Taehyung couldn't believe how professional he sounded and smiled to himself.

Jeongguk cleared his throat and sat up properly. "Of course, that's not a problem at all, can I email it to you or should we meet in person?"

"Personally" Taehyung's answer came too fast and he facepalmed himself a couple of times. Jeongguk chuckled because he could hear it clearly. A "cute" left his lips, which in turn made Taehyung sit up after hearing the word. He blushed but didn't comment on it.

Jeongguk liked the conversation more and more and didn't want to finish it yet, so he started to speak again. "How about today? I happen to have nothing to do."

"Today? Hmm." Of course, Taehyung was also free the whole day but he didn't want to seem unimportant. He flipped through his drawings to make it sound like he was checking his appointments, and after a minute he closed the book with a loud noise. "Since my other business date canceled yesterday, I'm free too, would it be okay for you to meet in my office in two hours?"

"Can we meet in a quiet coffee shop, I really need a strong coffee first!" Jeongguk groaned, he was really tired after he got home at 6am and it was now only noon.

"Oh, of course, that works too, send me the address and I'll be there in two hours." Taehyung threw his fist up and mouthed a 'yes' !

"Great! See you later, Tae." The nickname slipped out and Taehyung bit his lower lip. "God, how unprofessional of me! I meant Mr. Kim!" Jeongguk dropped back onto the bed and closed his eyes embarrassed.

"It's okay, I mean, if we're in public, it's better if we stay professional, but if no one's listening you can call me Tae." Taehyung found it rather cute and preferred it. Of course he knew that it wasn't good to be comfortable too fast, but since he had that weird feeling whenever he saw the younger one, he wanted to be close to him to find out the reason.

After a short goodbye, they ended the call
and got ready for the meeting.
