"Was that it? I was expecting more, Taehyung!" Jeongguk knew how to upset the other even more and used this knowledge.

Taehyung scoffed. "I haven't even started Alpha, I hope you're ready for it!"

Even if they were destined to spend their entire lives together, wolves know no mercy when they are challenged. Not even if it's your own mate. Of course they would never seriously hurt the other but one or the other wound was to be expected.

Jimin and Mr Jeon kept a healthy distance, it was too dangerous to stand too close.

Taehyung transformed first. His big wolf was impressive but Jeongguk just smiled with a roll of his eyes. "Always Showing-off."

Not even three minutes later, they faced each other on all fours and growled.

Taehyung had blocked the link where Jeongguk could hear his thoughts, but that also meant that he didn't hear Jeongguk's thoughts any more.

Mr. Jeon put an arm around Jimin. "Get ready, you'll be impressed."

Jimin looked at him questioningly. "Won't the two break it up?"

The older one shakes his head. "No, it's important for both of them, Taehyung is a royal and Jeongguk is the future pack leader, both have a strong character and no one will give in. It won't be their last fight, believe me."

Jimin made an "ooh" sound and his eyes fell on the couple. "Who do you think will win?"

Mr. Jeon laughed. "I bet on Taehyung, he has that look as if he's hiding something. On the other hand, Jeongguk is strong, even stronger than I but Taehyung knows Jeongguk's attacks since they both trained together."

"But then Jeongguk knows Taehyung's too, right?" Jimin was confused.

"Yes and no, I saw Taehyung train alone and he has improved a lot, he has skills that Jeongguk doesn't know yet, you will see it soon." Mr. Jeon nodded in their direction as he saw that it was starting.

Jimin leaned against the older one, watching closely.

Jeongguk was the one who attacked first. He shifted his weight onto his hind legs and jumped to Taehyung.

The Omega was prepared and got up. It looked like they were hugging each other but baring their teeth and trying to bite it was proof enough that it was anything but a loving hug.

With mouths wide open, they grabbed each other. Both already had some bite wounds which weren't deep. They turned in circles as they parted away from each other. Their eyes focus on each other.

Taehyung had enough of playing around and jumped on Jeongguk. Before the Alpha could react, Taehyung was already above him while he was lying on his back.

Jimin got nervous. He clung to Mr Jeon and nibbled his bottom lip.

Taehyung tried to persuade the Alpha to give up. He bit his paws and upper body in quick movements. He knew he would heal afterwards. The injuries weren't too deep.

Jeongguk didn't give up though, repelled the attacks and in one won the upper hand a short time later. Jeongguk turned both of them around, so that he now hovered over Taehyung. His teeth pierced Taehyung's neck.

Mr Jeon's eyes widened. "Oh shit."

Jimin looked at him in surprise. "Why? What is going on?"

"You know the rules during a fight. Which is one of the most important?" The man asked and pointed to Jeongguk, who was still in the same position. Taehyung was paralyzed.
