Jeongguk was waiting for Yoongi and Hoseok. Jimin sat next to him and got nervous. "What if something happened?" He wished he could go out and look for them but since he is an Omega this wasn't possible. Too much could happen to him.

"Yoongi is your mate, the bond between you makes you feel what he feels." Jeongguk's father had already explained it to his son and now the youngest could pass on this knowledge to Jimin.

"That's why I'm probably so nervous, I feel like he's in trouble or something like that." The Omega nestled against Taehyung, who released soothing pheromones.

Jeongguk didn't like it when someone was so close to his future mate, but since Taehyung helped him by calming Jimin down, he accepted it.

As even after hours, no sign of life of the two was given, Taehyung got now nervous too. "Gguk, I think there should be a few more out there, Jimin here will not be able to hold back any longer."

Jeongguk knew that Taehyung was right. Normally it was customary to report to the pack after two hours at the latest in whichever way. Yoongi and Hoseok hadn't been in contact with Jeongguk for four and a half hours already.

"Okay, I'll get some alpha's and look for them." Jeongguk stood up but Taehyung held him back.

"I'm coming with you, I know that I'm strong enough when we're in a group, you need me!" Taehyung's eyes said he wouldn't accept a no, so Jeongguk sighed and nodded. "Okay, but you stay by my side, I'll never take you with me again if you get lost!" It wasn't supposed to be threatening, but since Jeongguk used his alpha voice, Taehyung whimpered and felt the need to submit.

But Taehyung was strong. He could resist the urge but the feeling was anything but good. He hoped that Jeongguk would soon trust him and he would never hear that voice again.

"Jeongguk, I promise to stay by your side, I'll put your tail in my mouth like the baby elephant at Jungle book and follow after you!" Taehyung said sarcastically and Jeongguk rolled his eyes while Jimin imagined it and laughed loudly.

A stern look and a low growl from the Alpha made Jimin wincing and Taehyung slapped him on the back of his head. "Don't threaten our innocent Jimin!"

Jeongguk gasped. He wasn't used to someone scolding him in front of others, especially an Omega. "Taehyung, what the h-" "He's right, my son." Mr. Jeon entered the room with a cup of coffee in his hand. "You should be careful with your growling, it will give you more respect if you act with words than with your rank!"

Jeongguk felt bad, not because his father had reprimanded him, but because he had agreed to Taehyung, not his own son.

Taehyung could feel it and made a mental note to not say or do anything wrong in the next few hours. He knew how Jeongguk could be and had already had his experiences. He was still very young and already had a heavy burden to bear.

Normally, Taehyung would avoid people like him, too moody or bossy for his liking. However, he was the one he would probably spend the rest of his life with and therefore hoped to make him slow and with much patience a little more chill.

Through the mind link, Jeongguk called five alphas to his house. Taehyung couldn't use this connection yet, as he hadn't yet officially joined the pack.

Since he had transformed once, he could at least talk to his mate in his mind.

"Jeongguk, do we need anything for the patrol?" Taehyung grabbed water to drink.

"What, you want to have a picnic out there?" Jeongguk was still in a bad mood and snapped at him.

Jimin backed away, realizing that Taehyung would no longer tolerate the behavior. "That could be interesting now." Mr. Jeon whispered to Jimin and grinned.

To hell with the mental note. Taehyung put his bottle down on the table and slowly approached Jeongguk. Their eyes met and no one gave in and submitted to the other.

When the Omega stopped in front of the Alpha, each other's breath hit each other's face.

"Pull yourself together Alpha!" Taehyung began to break the silence with a deep voice.

"Or what, Omega?" Jeongguk's eyes changed color and an aggressive red showed up.

Taehyung scoffed. "So you want to fight it out, huh?"

"As if you have a chance against me!" Jeongguk laughed at Taehyung and Jimin swallowed nervously.

Mr. Jeon leaned back and watched the couple. He knew that such situations were important to their future. Two strong characters meet and must find compromises. It's all a question of experience. This won't be their last fight about strength.

Taehyung knew that he had to teach Jeongguk a lesson or else he would always have to submit to him. "Let's find out!" He used all his pent up rage and pushed Jeongguk against the wall. However, the wall didn't stop Jeongguk there. The wood broke and the Alpha's body landed outside in the dirt.

Jimin's jaw dropped. He knew Taehyung was stronger than the average Omega, but that exceeded his expectations.

Jeongguk got up and brushed the dirt from his clothes. He had trained with Taehyung and knew what to expect, at least he believed that.

He couldn't let Taehyung win, because it would mean that he - the future leader - was weak. Little did he know that Taehyung was practicing secretly without him.
