I wake up to Sans shaking me. I feel my face heat up and flush.
"Hey kiddo, you okay? Your face is whitish."
Oh, so my new blush must be white? That's strange, but interesting. Why am I feeling emotions though? I feel a sudden rush of determination, and I can feel some sort of warmth flush through my tiny soul.
"Now you're... pinkish?"
I summon my soul. It's a sort of light pink and it's a lot bigger. Now it's about the size of half of my palm. That's weird. Sans then blinks a few times and starts talking.
"So kiddo, I visited Alphys yesterday. She's the royal scientist. She said that souls regrow when you feel a strong emotion, and you probably have two core soul traits now. Do you know what caused these emotions?"
I look wide eyed at him. "So the first one was love, and the second one was..." I think for a second. "Determination. Yeah, that's right. I felt determined to find out why I was feeling emotions, and for love, I..."
I look to the side and my face flushes pink. This is going to be awkward.
"How should I put this... um... well... I felt... my first emotion around... y-you..."
He turns a bright blue. "I-I'm going to... Grillby's." That could've gone better.
