5:03 PM
The girls had finally gotten off of work. They were ecstatic.
"What we bout to do?". Jameer asked as they exited the library.
"The boys wanted to meet us for dinner, so we bout to go home and change and then we can agree on a place to go". Nia replied.
They drove home, Anaya and Jameer falling asleep in the process.
"Wake up!". Nia yelled causing the two to jump up.
"We home". She giggled as they mugged her.
They went up to the apartment and the boys were on the couch watching tv.
"Ayyyy there they go! How was work?". Roscoe stood up and kissed Nia's temple.
"Trash. That lady need to learn how to treat people. But other than that, it was ok I guess". Jameer shrugged.
"Dang, well what we bout to get into?". Shaun stretched his limbs.
"We could go eat and then do something else after". Nia plopped down on the couch and searched up things to do.
"Y'all wanna go see a movie?". Nia scrolled through her phone.
"Yeah, let's go". Anaya stood up.
"I'mma sit this one out, I got a headache". Jameer yawned.
"Aw, ok. You want us to bring you something back?". Nia hugged Jameer.
"Yeah, just some ice cream and pita chips". Jameer laid down on the couch.
Nia and Anaya went to their rooms to shower and get dressed. After thirty minutes they were dressed and on their way.

Jameer was home, scrolling through Netflix trying to find something to watch. She wished she had gone out with everybody but she didn't feel like being a fifth wheel. She wondered what life would've been like had she listened to Boston. They would still be together, but she would lowkey have regrets about aborting her baby, maybe she would even hate Boston.
Not finding anything, she threw on a jacket and decided to go for a walk around campus.
"Jameer?". A voice called behind her.
She turned seeing Trey walking quickly to catch up to her.
"What are you doing here?". Jameer frowned, not wanting company, especially from the likes of Trey.
"I was just walking back to my dorm, I ain't know you was pregnant. Congratulations". Trey offered a friendly smile.
"Thank you. But I would actually like to be alone". Jameer tried to brush him off.
"You don't need to be by yourself this time of night. It's a bunch of creeps walking round. Lemme walk you back to yo spot". Trey offered.
"Trey, I haven't forgotten that you accused my best friend and ex-boyfriend of sleeping together. I know I didn't say much about it back then, but it was very embarrassing. So if you would excuse me, I'll walk myself back to my spot". Jameer did a U-turn leaving Trey in his tracks.
"Jameer! I want to apologize!". Trey jogged, trying to catch up to her again.
"Honestly Trey, what are you trying to do here? Me and you were never close, Nia and Roscoe are still going strong, Anaya has a boyfriend, so what are you really trying to do?". Jameer frowned.
"Look Jameer, back then I was stupid. I was on bullshit. But now, I'm just tryna make things right. Nia won't even look at me and y'all just pick up after her. I'm not who I used to be. So please, I apologize for anything that I ever did to you and to Nia. If you could just tell her that, please?". Trey begged.
"Look Trey, I understand you want Nia to forgive you and you want all of us to be friends, but things have changed. Nia has changed, the group has changed. It isn't like high school, it's different now. Boston is gone, Kyle is gone, Gotti is gone, everybody dispersed after high school. It's just the girls, Roscoe, and his roommate now". Jameer explained.
"I'm not looking for a relationship with Nia. I just need people I know. My Mom is moving here which is mostly why I'm here. I know it looks like I came just to start back up with Nia but I promise you this ain't that. I just need somebody to talk to. I haven't spoken to Boston or Kyle in months. I don't even know where to start looking for them. You are all I got right now Jameer". He pleaded.
"Ok, fine. What do you want from me". Jameer sighed, she felt bad for Trey.
His boys had deserted him, he had no one.
"I need you to just tell Nia I'm sorry. And I need you to just offer some support here and there". Trey smiled.
"Boy bye. Fine. I'll tell her. And we'll see about that whole support thing". Jameer chuckled.
Never in a million years would she have thought that she would be doing Trey a favor.
"Thank you so much, Jameer. You won't regret this". Trey hugged her.
"No problem. And I better not". Jameer entered into the entrance of her apartment building.

Jameer walked back into the apartment and everybody was sitting on the couch watching TV."Girl where did you go? We thought you was in the room". Anaya stood up.
"I was, then I went for a walk and ran into Trey. He wanted me to tell Nia he's sorry and he's not here on no creep shit. His Mom is moving here and he had no choice but to enroll here". Jameer recounted tonight's events.
"Mhm. Yeah ok. I hope he just keep his distance". Nia rolled her eyes.
Jameer didn't want everybody to know that she had low-key agreed to be friends with Trey. Nia would be livid, not to mention feel betrayed.
Jameer just said goodnight to everybody and went to her room, Trey heavy on her mind.
