Your P.O.V
Everyone stood silently in the courtyard. It worried me slightly that Garroth was gone. Laurance and Dante whispered back and forth to each other quietly, so quiet no one could hear them even through the quiet. I looked over at Katelyn and leaned on her as I watched her phone. She was doing little to nothing on her phone but I still I stood there for what felt like hours. Hours later the bell rang, my ears perked up as if Garroth would appear with the sound of the bell, but it didn't happen. I followed everyone else into the school and walked through the crowd to my locker.
I was in the middle of pulling my things out of my backpack when I felt a hand snake around my waist. I looked up quickly at the familiar blonde haired boy infront of me.
"Hi." He said simply, he sniffled and then wiped his nose with his finger. Even though it looked like he didn't need to do so.
"What happened yesterday?" I asked quickly. He let his hand fall back down to his side.
"Nothing." Garroth said nonchalantly, he shrugged as he looked down at me.
"You just left. What happened? "I asked.
"Okay," Garroth said, he looked as though he was about to shrug the statement off again but then changed his mind. "Let's just say, I might have lightly punched Jeffery in the face." He mumbled it as if I wouldn't hear..
"What," I asked only slightly surprised, "what's the point of that." I shoved at his chest.
"I- he," Garroth stopped talking and held his hands out like he didn't have a reason to give me.
"Garroth?" I raised my eyebrows at him.
"He, called you a slut okay." Garroth raised his voice, sounding more defensive than he needed to.
"Garroth!" I said, almost not surprised. "That's not a good reason to punch someone."
"Yes it is, your important to me." Garroth said he narrowed his eyes at me.
"I know, you're important to me too," I said quietly, the bell rang as my sentence ended, "but don't do that."
Garroth dramatically rolled his eyes at me as he turned away from me. I turned away from him aswell and began making my way to the English classroom. I walked into the classroom late, but still before many other in the class.
"He punched Jeffery in the face didn't he?" Katelyn asked as I sat down.
"How do you know?" I asked smiling.
"I walked past Jeffery in the courtyard, he had a black eye. There's only a few people that have the balls to punch the captain of the football team." Katelyn smirked wildly as she talked.
"He's lucky he didn't get suspended or something." I said
"Oh come on he's a huge teachers pet, and his dad's rich enough to buy the school so there's that." Katelyn said over exaggerating the word huge. "Have you seen Jeffery?" Katelyn asked sitting sideways and looking back at Laurance.
"Yeah, I'm surprised he showed up at school today." Laurance said, he took a bite of his uncrustable, which I assumed was his breakfast.

Garroth and Laurance were the only ones at our lunch table when I arrived. They sat across from each other playing virtual beer pong on Laurance's phone. I sat down next to Garroth, using his shoulder to steady myself as I sat down.
"Hi" He said, his voice cracking. I instantly smiled.
"Garroth go." Laurance whined. Garroth rolled his eyes and held his hand over Laurance's phone, powering it off. Laurance lifted his head up and opened his mouth wide as if someone had said something to offend him.
