Unanswered | Sanhyuk

Sanha was fighting the tears pooling in his eyes, he knew that everything he was doing would amount to nothing. He knew that in the end, he was going to end up in even more pain. Yet he still sent messages to Minhyuk as often as possible, he still held on to some hope for the first few weeks because he knew Minhyuk.

Sanha knew Minhyuk cared more about his friends than anything in the world, Sanha knew that Minhyuk would never leave them like this if he didn't have a reason. Minhyuk had talked to Sanha before about how he feels that he isn't good enough for them, sanha was always there for him in those moments. Sanha had spent many nights thinking about why he left, what happened to make him do this.

A muffled sob erupted from underneath the pillow where sanha had hidden, he had tried to keep quiet, for the sake of his hyungs. They'd been comforting him for a  long time, he was tired of bothering them. They were all sitting out in the hall, having a movie marathon, sanha had claimed to be tired and went to his room. The other boys, although worried, let him go.  

Sanha had put on Minhyuks yellow hoodie, trying to feel the older boys embrace through the piece of cloth. The scent of Minhyuk that lingered on it was now faint, almost completely gone. He had planned on sending one final text to Minhyuk before deleting the contact. Sanha didn't know why it hurt so much when the message didn't send through, maybe because it was his last piece of hope? maybe it was because this was his last connection with the older boy. Sanha didn't know what it was, he just knew it hurt, but he wanted to be strong, he was only allowing himself to cry over Minhyuk this one last time.

Sanha's muffled sobs were still loud enough to be heard by the boys sitting outside, they wanted to comfort the boy who was hurting, they wanted to do something to bring back the happy laughing boy who was always joking around, who wasn't exhausted every day, who wasn't as hurt. of course they don't blame Minhyuk or Sanha, they were just sad that Sanha was hurting so much.

Dongmin couldn't help it, he couldn't just sit and do nothing when Sanha was sobbing alone, he got up off of the couch separating himself from Bin, he straightened out his sweater and got ready to begin walking to the younger boys room.

Just as Dongmin started walking the sound of the doorbell rang through the apartment, he turned towards the other three boys, sending a questioning glance towards them. It was already 10 pm and to his knowledge, no one was expecting anyone. Dongmin turned away from the younger's room and moved to open the front door, he swiftly unlocked it only to be met with a surprising sight.

No one had been expecting to see a disheveled looking Minhyuk standing at the doorway. The boy stared at Minhyuks messy hair, his red eyes due to what seemed like crying, his outfit consisted of a dark green shirt, a leather jacket hastily thrown over it and black jeans, nothing unusual for Minhyuk to wear. At the sound of Dongmins slight yelp, the other three rushed towards the doorway, each letting out a little gasp at the sight in front of them. 

a few tears escaped bins eyes as he whispered, "Minhyuk? you-you're really here?"

The younger boy only nodded before speaking, "Sanha, I need to see Sanha, he needs me, I'll explain later but please just tell me he's here."

The four boys crowding around the doorway nodded, clearing a path for Minhyuk to walk into the house. Sanha was the priority, he needed Minhyuks comfort more than they needed an explanation.

Minhyuk remembered his way around the apartment despite the fact that he'd been gone so long, the boy quickly found Sanha's room due to the sound of muffled whimpers and sobs. Minhyuk's heart broke as he slightly nudged open the door to find Sanha, laying in a pile of blankets and pillows, his head hidden beneath the fluffy mess, his body shaking with every little sob he let out.
