🚧 Trigger Warning! 🚧
🚧 Sensitive Topic! 🚧After being rescued by Deku, Shitty Hair and the others, we made our way- well I forced our way- to a spot where we could see the fight that was being broadcast to the world. All Might was fighting the notorious villain, All For One, and he wasn't doing too well. His strength was failing and he had been reduced to what looked like a walking sack of skin and bones. While it was hard to take my eyes off the screen I took notice that Deku, who was standing next to me the whole time, had such a terrified look on his face. His skin had paled so much, one would have thought that the nerd had seen a ghost. Deku's eyes suddenly widened and I looked back to the giant screen. All For One had a disgusting looking arm on his body that looked like a mix of different quirks, but since the guy could steal quirks, that made sense.
Even with help from Gran Torino, All Might's mentor, there was little that could be done against this terrible villain. All Might and the villain both leaped at each other, fists connecting causing a large cloud of dust to be swept up. For a moment we couldn't see a thing on the monitor, but as the puff of debris cleared everyone was appalled by what we saw. All For One had his normal hand around All Might's throat. With his arms hanging limp at his sides, it didn't take long for anyone watching to realize what had happened.
All For One threw All Might's body to the side and turned his back to the camera. Within seconds, Endeavor and Gran Torino and a few other pros were all on All For One's tail and he was quickly rendered unconscious.
Even though All For One had been defeated, there were few cries of happiness around us. I took my eyes off of the monitor again to look at Deku who was on his hands and knees crying. I could hear his cries over everyone else's and something he told me months ago came back to me.

I was walking home from school, still pissed off that I lost to that damn nerd today. I still couldn't figure out why Deku had been hiding his quirk all these years.
"Kacchan, wait up!"
Speaking of the nerd... I stopped in my tracks and glanced back at him.
"What?" I growled at him.
"I have to tell you something," he started. "maybe then you'll understand what's been going on. I wasn't hiding my quirk from you, it was given to me by someone else... recently." Deku stared at the ground, seemingly afraid to make eye contact with me. "But I can't tell you who I got it from so don't ask! Sounds crazy I know, sounds like something right out of a comic book, only its real. The thing is, I don't really have control over this power yet."
I began to shake in anger as he spoke. "Borrowed power?" What does he mean by that?
"I haven't figured out how to make it my own," he continued, "but I'm trying. That's why, I didn't want to use it against you in the exercise. But in the end it was the only way I had a chance of winning." Deku looked up at me with that pathetic look of determination he used earlier today. "I've still got a lot to learn, I know that, that's why I'm here. You'll see... I'll work until I have full control of this borrowed quirk. And I'll finally beat you with my own power!"
This damned nerd, does he really believe that I'm so stupid?
"How dumb do you think I am?" I asked turning to face him head on. 'Borrowed power?' Don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. You already made a fool out of me in that damn training exercise." I glared at him, "So, did you come here to rub it in? I lost and to make matters worse it was to you!" I shouted, clenching my fists in my pockets. "I came in first in the exam, but that's not enough! When I was watching that ice guy, I realized I couldn't beat him in a head to head fight!"
I then remembered what that black haired girl said. "Crap! I even agreed with what that girl said! That attack was so stupid! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" I yelled, my blood boiling. "Enjoy that win, Deku, you won't get another! I'm just getting started! Got that?! I'm gonna end up the number one hero no matter what!" I turned away and brought my sleeve up to my face to wipe away the tears that had begun flowing. "You'll never beat me again you bastard... Don't even try."
As I started walking away from Deku, All Might showed up to try and give an inspirational speech, but I brushed him off and left.
-----
Everything suddenly made sense, Deku's quirk, his relationship with All Might. All Might had given Deku his quirk. So as hard as it was going to be, no one would be more afflicted than Deku by the loss of the Symbol of Peace.
