I woke up the following morning to the sound of a steady beeping. Tsuyu had brought me to the hospital to make sure I wasn't too seriously injured. Looking around the pure white room, I noticed a patch of red hair sound asleep on the edge of my bed. I smiled softly, knowing Kiri must have been by my side the whole night. My smile quickly faded as soon as I realized how worried he must've been. I lightly ran my hand through his soft hair and he began to stir.

"Hey, Shitty Hair," I said softly.

He sat up and looked at me. Worry was written all over his face and there were circles under his eyes. I wonder how long he had stayed up.

"Katsuki," he said in relief, gently taking my hand in his. "How many times do I have to tell you our hair is similar?"

I chuckled at his remark. Despite how concerned he was for my well being, he still knew how to make me smile.

"You scared me," he said gently rubbing the back of my hand. "When you sent me that distress message, I didn't know what to do at first. So I called Todoroki and told him what happened."

"Wait... I sent you the distress?" I tilted my head in confusion. "I thought I sent it to Jeanist."

Kiri shook his head and pulled out his phone. Once he found our chat he showed it to me.

"Oh my gosh," I gasped, covering my face with my hands

"Oh my gosh," I gasped, covering my face with my hands. "Kiri, I'm so sorry."

"Hey don't sweat it, Katsuki," he pulled my hands away as he sat on the edge of my bed. "You're safe now and that's what matters."

There was a knock on the door which caused me to jump. Kiri let out a quiet growl as he patted my head and walked to the door.

"Who is it?"

"Just me, Kirishima," said the voice on the other side. "I came to check on Bakugo, kero. Uraraka is here too."

Kiri relaxed as he opened the door to let Tsuyu and Ochako in. Ochako had a few get well balloons in her hand as well as my phone.

"How are you doing, Bakugo?" Uraraka asked.

"Wishing that I wasn't in here, but don't have much of a choice," I said. "How'd you get my phone?"

"I gave it to the police last night," interjected Kiri. "I figured they could try to find information on it that may help them find Midoriya."

"So he's r-really back?" Uraraka asked as she handed me my phone and sat the balloons on the bedside table.

I looked down at my phone and nodded, "He's different though, Uraraka. He said it himself, he's not the same Deku we knew anymore."

"I see..." She sighed.
