(M/N) : Middle Name
(N/N) : Nick Name
(H/C) : Hair Color
(E/C) : Eye Color"Are you really ready to survive this on your own? (Y/N), you've lost everyone, including me..." your father tells you as his bright majestic green eyes seem to have sadness seeping out of them.
What? He's got to be joking.
You seem confused as you exhale a quick sigh that sounded like a scoff. You couldn't believe your ears. Gone? What does he mean gone? He's right here!
"Dad? What are you talking about? We survived the virus for years now, mom may be missing still, but at least I have you. An the others? At least their off this hellhole and in a safer place." You go to hug your father, but he vanishes before your very eyes.
Your (E/C) eyes widen in sudden shock. You blink constantly to see if he would reappear, but you did it in vain. He was gone. How?
This is so weird, you thought.
Suddenly the screeches of the undead was heard from behind you, automatically sending cold shivers up your spin and up to the back of your neck as you felt the hairs on the back of your neck stand.
"GRWAH!!"
No! Not now! You thought.
Suddenly, you dart up in the middle of darkness in an empty room as sweat drips down your brow just as you exhale a shaky gasp.
Oh... It's that dream again...
Remembering how your dad died to those foul creatures made your stomach turn, what truly made you sick was how you witnessed it firsthand.
Dad's really gone...
Even though just waking up from your nightmare, you feel the exhaustion take affect on your eyes, thus stinging them, begging for you to close your eyelids and sleep away this life.
You knew better. You had to move. Or they would find you. Some way. Some how. The tiny sun rays slithering into the abandoned room, from the wooden planks on the broken window, showed a few hidden things.
Such as that of the bat you carried around in case you encounter a runner, or even any of those creatures, for that matter. You yawn softly as you assume it's morning and you do an exaggerated stretch and end up awkwardly spread out, back on the floor again.
"Ugggghhh!" An annoyed groan escaped your parted lips as you then motivate yourself to actually get up and gather your things. Lazy. Just pure lazy you are.
Especially when it's so dangerous now a days? Tsk, tsk. Some survivor you are.
You seem to have caught sight of a family photo. Noticing the smiling teenage son and two parents, you frown in despair. Your father may have been taken by the virus, but your mother on the other hand. Who knows?
Maybe she's still alive somewhere, just waiting for you to come save her from the clutches of the infected.
You feel your heart drop a bit at that thought.
Maybe, you thought, Just maybe.
When moving spots everyday, it had it's toll at times. You never saw any of the infected, so that was a bonus. You ended up in a city, which was never good, but your growling stomach demanded your attention.
Three days. You've been so distracted by trying to survive that you forgot to fuel yourself in the midst of it. As if a sign from above, you notice a Flee Market.
"Yes!" You mumble happily under your breath. Moving swiftly and silently, you slip into the Flee Market to notice the place half strowed.
You took out your book bag and started mindlessly filling it with chips, snack bars, honey buns, and other goods. Once the book bag was filled, you treated yourself to a sweet honey bun as you let out a soft groan of satisfaction.
It's been months since you had one of these little guys. You close your eyes as you chew and savior this moment. Once finished, you threw the trash away. Yes. You actually got up with your backpack on you and threw the trash away.
What? Don't judge yourself.
Your still a decent human being. You're not gonna litter even if half of the Earth is filled with flesh hungry zombies. Yep.
As you went to walk out, you found the sun slowly sinking behind the city buildings. You had to hide. Very soon. Or else. With a quicken pitter patter of your heart beat, your (E/C) eyes nervously dart around to find the perfect place to stay.
Until, you spot it looking dead at you with it's filmed, dulled eyes as it's posture was cringing. You heard yourself gulp in fear as you stood there, paralyzed in that fear.
Shit!
Your hearts pounding now. You visualize all the different ways this one creature can kill you so easily. Your fear grows.
It's gnawing at your every thought. As your trapped in fear, the zombie is making it's way towards you.
Just you. How wonderful. You've only survived a few months. Now you have to die. Congratulations on surviving to die.
I wonder. How would it feel to have a zombie gnawing on your flesh? Not great, huh?
