"Hello, (Y/N). I'm Enzo. Nice to meet you." He held his hand out to you, wanting to shake hands. Without further hesitation, you gently take his hand and shook it.

His lips stretched out into an upward smile. "Well, you seem unaffected. Which is a good sign. I thought we had to kill you for a moment this morning." He told you bluntly. No hint of hesitation in his voice.

Kevin glared at Enzo. "Hey! Shut up! She doesn't ne-"

"She doesn't what, Kevin?" Enzo turns towards Kevin, a slight ping of anger leaking out his eyes as he glared at him. "She doesn't need to know the truth? Is that what you're saying?" He motioned.

Kevin seemed nervous. "I didn't say that. You know what I meant wh-"

"No. You were going to say that. She is staying with us, after all. So she needs to know." Enzo then turns back towards you, noticing how you were a bit scared. "You guys were planning on killing me?" You ask, a hint of sadness in your voice.

Lewis turned towards Kevin. "Kevin, what's up with that?"

Kevin rolled his eyes, the bags under his eyes made him look sick just a bit. "Enzo. That's not what I meant." The two were about go up and butt heads, but a feminine figure walks in and she's mad.

Mad at you. She never even met you until now, and she's already mad that you're here; existing. "Who the hell is this?!" She shouted angrily. More towards you, to say. You stare at her in disbelief. How does she hate me? I've done no wrong to her.

Her attitude then made it clear to you. She was a brat, one that everyone has in their life's (unless their lucky) that always brings them hell. She was your brat to be.

You sigh softly, not even wanting to speak as she argued with the guys. "She came from the outside, Kevin!! She could be infected! Did you even check her?!" The girl shouts, causing a great, thick tension to spread across the air like Invisible gas. A type of gas to make you feel uneasy.

Kevin didn't know how to take Sarah, but Enzo knew how to make this one shut up.

"Oh? She's from the outside? Well, so were you, Sarah. I'll happily take you back to the mall along with (Y/N) and feed you both to a hungry horde of zombies." Enzo spoke with little emotion as he glares at Sarah, catching her by surprise.

"You wouldn't dare!" She tests him. "Oh, but I will." He nudges his head towards the silent, tall figured girl in the corner. She wasn't skinny, nor fluffed either, she was built. Your gaze fell upon her as you couldn't help but swallow your saliva down.

She came over and took Sarah gently by the arm, but with how small Sarah was, it looked violent to see the unknown girl's grip on Sarah like that.

You felt slightly scared for her. Then yourself. You just got here and their already planning to feed you to those creatures. Something about Enzo put your nerves on edge. He was so nice a moment ago towards you, saying how you were staying here. Yet, now he's going to feed you and Sarah to a horde.

"Enzo! Enough with your games! Let me go!" She growls, trying to shake off the girl's grip. "No. I won't do such a thing to you two, but Sarah. You need to cool down in your room." Enzo nods at the tall girl to take Sarah away.

You stare. Was this how they treated the women who were survivors? As if Lewis read your mind, he patted your head. "Don't think like that. I can see it in your eyes. That's just how we handle Sarah. She's a brat, yes, but we have to restrain her sometimes." Lewis tells you.

You sigh relieved. Enzo turns to you as you meet his eyes." Sorry to do that to you (Y/N). She would have gotten more angry if I kicked her out instead of you. So don't worry. I was only saying that to make her think. Come on. We've got to plan the night shifts.

Night shifts? you wonder.

Does that mean this place really isn't safe?
