"Breathe in.... now let it out." The older woman urges the girl.

"No, it's not working!" she yells out at the older woman.

"It will, just breathe."

"Mom, it's not working." She yells again.

"IT WILL!" She yells back losing patience and scaring her daughter.

"Fine..." She breathes in once again, to please her mother.

"Good," her mother sighs, "now tell."

"Tell What?" The girl asks confused.

"Oh, really?" The mother questions her daughter sarcastically.

"It was just a nightmare, mother." She states blankly.

"Okay, just take your pills and try to sleep." The mother says while getting up.

"Yes, mother. Mother?"

"Yes?" she stops moving towards the door.

"When can I go home?" The girl asks with hope in her voice.

"When you get better. Now go to sleep I'll come visit you next month." Her mother says coldly.

"Yes, mother."

Her mother had left. How much she wishes she could to. But not to go "home" to just be free. To get out from the mental hospital. It's been so long since she came here she doesn't even remember how old she is anymore.   She lied that she didn't remember what scared her so much she started to cry and scream. With telling her mother the truth though, could get someone hurt or killed she could choose to save or break her world. She's not supposed to remember according to her mother. But her mother lied to. In her mind her daughter will never get better. Without her mother in the room, now she could breathe. But all she could think was 'that was my first lie.'

In another part of the hospital...

"Hey, how are you doing bro?" The man asks his friend.

"I'm fine, although..." he looks up to his friend that came to visit him.

"What? Did you hurt someone?! Again?!" The man yells at the one who is smiling at him crazily.

"Nope, but I did meet a girl." He says still smiling.

"Oh? You didn't hurt her right?" He still didn't fully trust what his friend  is saying yet.

"No, no, I would have my ass handed to me." He says still smiling but softer now.

"Someone could do that to you?" He says laughing.

"Well, yeah." He says dropping his smile.

"What's her name?" He is now curious  as to who this girl is.

"It's-" he gets interrupted by a girl, not just any girl, the girl.

"Hey Min, the witch just left." She says only looking at Min then turns to look at the other man in the room.

"Oh, really? You know what rhymes with witch? BITCH!" He then starts to laugh along with the girl.

"Min! Don't curse!" He says like a mother would.

"Yes, mother dearest. Mother can I just say you look like a piece of shit fucked a bitch to make you?" Min states offhandedly.

"Min!!!!! Not cool!" He says not knowing what else to say, he stuttered to just get out not cool.

"Well, you didn't deny it ether." Min smirks proudly as he says snarkily.

"Well, who are you mother dearest? May I play with your child?" She laughs.

"Oh, now I see how you are friends with Min." He rolls his eyes.

"He is my best friend! His name is RJ. RJ this is-" Min starts introducing them to each other.

"I'm Z." The girl says glaring at Min.

"Nice to meet you Z." RJ extends his hand out for a handshake.

Z looks at his hand then looks away at Min and then walks back to her room.

"Well, someone's not that friendly." He points out to Min who just smiles at him and nods.

"Yeah. You should probably go home now it's getting late." Min says yawning.

"You got it bro. Bye." RJ gets up and gives Min a fist bump before leaving.

"Bye." Min says yawning laying down.

RJ waves as he starts walking down the long hall that connects all the mental hospital rooms together.

"Give her more pills!" An older woman yells at the man sitting at the front desk.

"Yes, ma'am." The man at the desk says to mollify the woman yelling at him. He looks at his computer rather than the woman and seems to find the information he is looking for.

"She's starting to remember I can feel it! That little bitch lied to my face! Who does she think she is!?" The woman keeps yelling extremely loudly.

"Your daughter's dose is already too high though ma'am, if we give her more i-"

"I don't care." The woman says through gritted teeth. "She can die for all I care! Now look I will come back when my remedy is ready for her but until then, just do as I say or I'll make sure you get fired." She says then storms off.

"What a bitch! Man, poor Z, she doesn't deserve to have a mother like her." The man at the desk whisper yells to himself. Shaking his head and with a frown on his face he gets back to work.

RJ shakes his head as he leaves the building.
