After the kiss, Z just stood there. Not knowing what to do. Lucky looked at her waiting for a response.
"Z? You good?" He waved his hand in front of her face. She shook her head to snap her out of it.
"Um yeah. Actually I am." She smiled slightly. The reality in front of her.
"That's good." He sigh out in relief. She smiled.
"You're alive. Im alive. Wait, wheres Min?" Z sat up ignoring the pain. Lucky following her movements.
"You have a point they should be back by now." Lucky agreed with her, and got out of bed and walked to her side of the bed to help her up and out.
"Thanks." She wrapped her arms his neck, he carried her bridal style.
They were walking to the kitchen when they got stopped. It was a member from Rank 5.
"Ha! Looks who's up! You weren't supposed to wake up, ya bitch!" She pointed her gun to Z. Z only tilted her head and sighed.
"Hey, watch where you point that thing. You wouldn't want it to go off would ya?" Lucky sat Z down.
"I'll point it wherever I want! This bitch has to die and if you get in my way I'll kill you too!" She yelled now pointing the gun to Lucky.
"If you point a gun at us, shoot it. We don't appreciate being held up at gunpoint." Lucky rolled his eyes. Neither of them had a problem dying.
"As you fucking wish!" She fired once into his arm.
"I thought we trained you better." Z sighed and stood up. She took out a small knife and threw it straight at the girls head. Z never misses unless she wants to.
"Let's go, we need to get you the the other side of the house." Z pointed at his arm. Z bent down and picked up the gun the girl threatened them with. She bit her lip to stop herself from screaming out in pain. He nodded and held her to stop her from walking.
"Hey, you are in more pain than I am. I should carry you." She held her hand up. He stopped talking.
"And make your arm worse? Hell no! WE need you to be able to fight." Z started to walk some more, Lucky sighed and followed her.
"Here we are." She opened the door and cleaned up his arm.
"Where is everyone?" Lucky pointed out, the whole room was empty but those two. There were usually at least four people in here, if no patients were here, then there were the people who needed more sleep and would sleep on the beds.
"You have a point. We should get going, we need to find your sister." Z finished wrapping up his arm. He nodded and got up. They walked as quietly as they could out of the room.
The halls where just as quiet and empty. The light was more dime as well. Like someone had turned off as much light as they could without it being completely dark. Lucky was looking to the left and Z the right. They wanted to make sure not to miss anything.
They took a turn to get to the main hallway. As soon as they turned they were shot at. Luckily they all missed, probably because of the lights. They were flickering and didn't offer much light maybe less than the other hallway. The red lights and the darkness would offer a cover for Lucky and Z. As soon as the lights turned off Lucky slipped into a doorway, Z followed soon after. They knew the house better than any of the others. And would practice if this ever happened. The red light were a warning to those who lived in the house that there was a treat that got into the building. Z pointed the gun to one of them, she could hear them. The lights were still out.
Someone must've turned them off completely. They were walking around, trying to find where Lucky and Z had gone to. She fired, he grunted and fell to the ground. She didn't know where she had gotten these skills from but didn't care right now. After the others fired a couple rounds at nothing she fired again. Once more hitting her target. She could hear some of them whispering, well more like freaking out. One of them tripped and fell, she took this as her chance and shot them. She didn't know where the rest where though, they had gotten smart and stopped moving around. Suddenly she heard Lucky kick something and it had hit one of the guys. They yelled out in surprise. Another one down. But the other two she couldn't hear at all. Lights turned on and Z saw them before they saw her, she fired and hit. Blood was covering the ground from all the men she had killed.
"Min." Lucky whispered. Z nodded, it was the only explanation. Min had turned off the lights for them. Knowing that it would help Z and Lucky.
"Yeah, we should thank him later, for now let's get the hell outta here. It's no longer safe." Z stepped over one of the body's and avoided the puddles of blood, so she would not slip and fall. Lucky did the same and they kept on walking till they would get to the top. Min wouldn't just leave Emma, so if he was there controlling the lights he would be there with her. The walk would take awhile. The "House" was more of a really big building and the walk without power would mean they couldn't take the elevator. The red flashing light made it hard to see things through. The halls were a mess unlike how they usually are. Lucky kept watching where he was stepping, Z was doing the same but also was looking around to make sure they were safe.
"We need to go up five flights of stairs, are you going to be okay Z?" Lucky stopped for a moment to look at her. Z stopped walking, and she turned to him.
"I'll be fine, don't worry. I've been through worse." She gave him a little smile and turned back around and started to walk again. Lucky frowned but didn't say anything and followed after.
"The stairs are over there." Lucky pointed out. The only problem was they were covered by something. Z frowned, her injury and Lucky's injury was going to stop them from moving it to the side. If she tried, to move it she could kill herself and Lucky's arm would open up again and get way worse. They would be sitting ducks if they didn't get a move on though.
