It was a hot summer day. He was supposed to be the perfect boy, play football and get a scholarship to a good university. He didn't want that, he didn't want to pretend that he was perfect, that his life was perfect. He hated his life, the only person who didn't treat him like he was so, got sent way to a mental hospital and he felt like his world crashed when he got injured. A leg injury. He couldn't play anymore. It caused his parents to fight all the time. He wanted to stop. Just stop, stop feeling like everything was his fault, like his world was perfect, like he wasn't in pain. He wanted to stop pretending, stop feeling.

So, he did, he stopped. Stopped being reasonable, sane, perfect. He felt so much better. He felt like he could fly up to the moon and back down. He felt great.

"Get out! Get out of my house!" His father yelled at him.

"I'm leaving chill." He walked out the door not even a second later the door slammed shut behind him. He fell to the ground clearly not sober at the moment.

"Min." He managed to get up and stumble to the bus stop that's across the street.

"I've gotta get to Min." About an hour later the bus came, he took it to the hospital. He cried and mumbled to himself the whole time. He  got to the part of the hospital where they kept the insane. He walked past a girl who was just looking off into space, weird girl with a scar, a boy who was screaming at nothing and a boy who was crying for the voices to stop. He kept going not looking back. He had to get to Min.

"What room was it again?" He turned the corner only to run into someone.

"Hey wa-" He looked up only to met eyes with Min. He smiled and hugged him.

"Uh, what are you doing here RJ?  Your supposed to be at home its getting late." He pushed RJ off slightly.

RJ sniffed, "I can't, my dad k-kicked me out. I don't have a home, Min." Min sighed.

"Come." He started to walk to his room, RJ following shortly after.

After RJ got into Min's room he sat on a chair that was in there.

"So you finally gave up on life, huh?" Min started.

"You knew this was going to happen?" RJ wiped his eyes.

"Yeah, so how'd this start?" Min laid down on his bed. His arm's behind his head and his eyes closed.

"My leg, it started with my leg." Min opened his right eye and looked at RJ.

"Your leg?" Min closed his eye again. RJ nodded even though Min couldn't see it.

"Yeah, I was playing football and one of the other players tripped me. That wouldn't be that bad but then the rest of the players not looking where they were going ran over my leg. They broke it. And I pulled my hamstring. I can't play anymore." RJ's eyes watered some more. His voice was broken and was breaking some more. Snot flowed for him nose like the tears in his eyes.

"You okay with that? I know it was important for your future. Even if you hated it." RJ turned to Min. His eyes wide, not expecting that from him. Min turned to look at him when he didn't hear a reply.

"H-how did you know? Everyone thought I loved football." RJ just stared at him, not moving. Not even blinking.

"It was obvious. I'm not one for missing people's feelings. You always looked miserable when sitting out on the bench waiting to go on field but you looked worse when on field. You always looked like you'd been to hell and back when you got off the field. I put the pieces together." Min sat up. RJ just smiled softly.

"You know, I love you man." RJ sniffled. Min's face twisted up into disgusted one.

"Don't say that ever again. Well it's about time you get to the main point." Min laid back down. RJ sighed then sniffed one more time before starting up again.

"I couldn't take it. I couldn't take my parents fighting over me, over what my future would be now that I messed it up. I started taking. It made everything better. I feel-" RJ got stopped by Min hitting his head. He slowly looked up to Min.

"YOU IDIOT! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF? YOUR FUTURE WASN'T MESSED UP BUT IT IS NOW! DID YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT?" Min yelled louder than RJ thought Min could. Min the usually quiet boy who kept to himself was yelling at him about how he messed up his life when he himself was arrested and put into a mental hospital. RJ's blood started to boil.

"I FUCKED UP MY LIFE? HAVE YOU NOT EVEN MET YOURSELF? YOUR A DUMB ASS PROBABLY PRETENDING THAT YOUR INSANE TO GET YOUR MOMMY'S ATTENTION!" As soon as it left him mouth he knew he fucked up. Min's face dropped. His anger growing towards RJ. RJ felt bad but his pride wouldn't allow him to apologize.

"Get out. You're no longer welcome here.  Don't ever come back." Min turned his back to RJ. RJ wanted to grab Min's shoulder and turn him around but didn't. He put his hand down and stood up. He looked back at him one more time.

"Min.." He stopped himself, and left. As he was walking away he heard Min crying. Not very loud but still loud enough for him to hear. He cried along with him. There goes the only person who really knew him, the only person he liked. He stopped walking, he turned around. Min, he felt more like a brother, an older brother. He needed him, needed and wanted him to be in his life.

He slammed the door open.

"Min!" Min turned to look at him.

"I'm sorry! I was in the wrong to say that. You aren't faking, you really have something going on  in you, and I'll probably never understand fully but I'll try. I'll stay by you through out this whole thing, I won't leave you. And your right, I did fuck up my future. But, I wanna make my own new future, no more drugs. No more, but I would like a future with you. One where we'er friends. If that's fine with you." He looked down tears still flowing. Eyes red from tear and drugs.

"You are so cheesy." RJ looked up to Min. Min was smiling at him.

"That sounds good, but don't fuck it up again." Min smiled bigger. RJ laughed at him.

"I won't, hopefully." RJ hugged Min. Min reluctantly hugged back.

"You know, your like a big brother Min." He joked. Min laughed.

"Yet you'tr older than me." They laughed. Both smiling happily. Little did they know they were being watched. She softly smiled at the two of them. She walked away quietly, her long red hair, smooth and soft. Her pale skin, her soft pink lips turned up into a smile.

She walked by a woman. This woman looking a lot like her but with black hair and cold dark eyes. She stopped walking, her smile growing bigger when she heard Min leave the room to get RJ and himself some water. She pushed the woman into Min. They stared at each other in awkward silence.

"Um, are you okay?" Min helped her stand up fully.

"Yeah, it felt like someone pushed me though." She looked behind herself. Right at her.

"I don't see anyone. Maybe they left. Well, that's okay I didn't get hurt and neither did you." Min smiled to the woman.

"My name's Min." He reached his hand out. She smirked.

"Z. Nice to meet you, Min." She grabbed his hand and shook it. They talked a little then parted ways. Z still felt creeped out that some pushed her, but he father was waiting for her in her room. Min grabbed the water and went back to his room, when he got back, he found RJ asleep. He smiled and put his only blanket on him. The room was freezing but he would rather RJ get the blanket. He sat the water down on the floor by the chair. And laid down on the bed.

After that day RJ visited at least once a week. And Min would spend more and more time with Z.
