The next day at school, I have a hard time focusing on the lectures. My mind is occupied with only one thing; my sister's weird request. Why would she ask something like that? Why did she seem so desperate to get me to do it? I tried to come up with countless reasons this night, but they were all too ridiculous and they were quickly discarded into oblivion.

I don't think my sister realized what she would cause by making a stupid request like that; I feel nervous around Felix now. It's like I'm suddenly aware of the fact that he's Lee Felix, even though I don't know how that matters. It's weird and awkward for me and I can only hope neither Minho or Felix notices because how am I supposed to explain this?

Oh yeah, my sister told me that I have to make Felix fall for me for unknown reasons and even though I'm not planning to do anything because he's my precious best friend, I'm still scared when I'm around him, also for unknown reasons.

That wouldn't work. Not at all.

Felix would most likely go into a frenzy and I think Minho would most likely kill my sister for asking something like that. After that, things would feel strange between us and we would fall apart. Boom, end of the story. Not exactly the fairytale I want to live in.

I nervously wait for Korean class to end. I've been feeling restless since yesterday and I can't seem to shake it off. Is it because Soojae normally wouldn't ask something like this? Is it because she said she can't tell me why I have to make Felix fall for me? There's something off, I can feel it. So what do I do? Ignore it all and see how it ends? Because that's definitely the only thing I can think of for now.

As soon as the bell rings, I hear Felix next to me yawning loudly and I glance over at the boy just as he places his hand on my shoulder, squeezing lightly to grab my attention with a painful expression.

"I'm hungry," he complains, exaggerating a pout.

"Me too," I reply, shrugging off his arm to collect my stuff. "Good thing it's lunch break."

Good thing, huh? I'm actually the most nervous about lunch break and it's all because of Minho. I might fool Felix, even though he's my best friend. But Minho can't be fooled; if something is going on, he will find out, no matter how much you try to hide it. It's as if he has a sixth sense for trouble.

Not giving up that easily, Felix links his arm with mine as we walk to the cafeteria together, happily talking about food, Fortnite and whatever makes him happy, which is a lot.

My heart sinks as I flinch under his touch. What am I supposed to do if I feel like this around Felix forever from now on? What if I can't even feel and act normal when I'm around my best friend? I mentally curse myself for acting like this. I might've said yes, but without the intention to actually do something about it.

Maybe it's because I have the feeling there's something revolving around my best friend. Something I have no idea of. I mean, why else would my sister ask for something like this? But that doesn't have to change anything between us, right?

I just hope it will go away, soon.

As we enter the cafeteria together, we find Minho at our usual table. He looks up from his cellphone just in time to see us approaching and he gives us a small smile as we sit down.

"Hey, there are my noisy juniors again," he greets us.

"Hello, boring old senior," Felix greets him back with his trademark beaming smile.

"It's still hyung for you," Minho corrects him. "Make it boring old senior hyung, at least."

I let out a soft chuckle and Felix sighs.

"And Minjae doesn't have to call you oppa?" he complains. "That's unfair."

"I just happen to despise that word," the oldest shrugs. "Every girl calling me that is one too many. Especially when they are older."

He scrunches up his nose in disgust and even Felix snickers, momentarily forgetting about the unfairness of life.

"You do realize that your future girlfriend is going to call you that too, right?" Felix teases, taking out his lunch box. "Or do you prefer jagi?"

"He's probably going to force her to call him hyung," I deadpan and Minho shakes his head.

"I want to replace you with nicer friends," he complains.

Felix grins, amicably placing his arm over the older's shoulders. "You won't find anyone better than Jaejae and me, right?"

I nod enthusiastically and a small smile appears on the oldest lips, quickly hidden by taking a sip of his water bottle.

Lightly shaking my head in amusement, I grab my chopsticks and dig in as well. Silence falls over the three of us as we all enjoy our lunch.

"Hey, hyung," Felix starts after a while, putting down his chopsticks with way too much enthusiasm. "Wanna join Minmin and me for ice cream after school?"

I slowly lift my head, confused by my best friend's words. Ice cream after school? Now that's new information to me. Maybe he asked me while I was spacing out during one of our previous classes but honestly, I can't remember the mention of ice cream and usually, ice cream is one of my trigger words.

"It's funny how Minjae seems to be surprised," Minho snickers. "Did you even ask her or is this your way of asking her to come with you?"

Felix grins awkwardly. "She never says no to ice cream."

That's it. I'm done with that unsettling feeling that lurks in the depths of my mind when Felix is around. Get yourself together, Minjae, I mentally scold myself. You're not going to do anything so everything will be fine.

"I know, but maybe-"

"Bold of you to assume I would ever say no to ice cream with Lixie," I scoff, placing my arm over Felix' shoulders, pretending to be offended. "Even if the world is ran over by a zombie apocalypse, I would still go."

"Such dedication, we stan," the oldest deadpans and Felix sighs impatiently.

"Are you joining us or nah?"

"I can't," Minho replies with an apologetic smile. "You guys are living the life but wait until you're in my year, I have four assignments to finish this week."

"Isn't that a little bit of your own fault, though?" I ask, tilting my head as I judge his reaction.

Felix nods in agreement. "You should really stop procastrinating, mate. I'm sure Jisung will understand that you have to focus on your studies a little more."

Minho actually looks dumbstruck for a moment before a frown sets on his brows. "Why do you always assume it's Jisung?"

"Uhm, isn't it?" I pry, smiling at the oldest innocently.

"Well-" he begins before he buries his fingers in his charcoal hair and groans, "I'm being bullied."

"Then it's just the two of us," Felix concludes, just as the bell chimes through the cafeteria.

I slowly remove my arm from my best friend shoulder and flash an encouraging smile to the older. "Good luck with your assignments."

"Good luck with not texting Jisung, you can do it, hyung!" Felix happily adds, giving the raven-haired a thumbs-up.

"Thanks," Minho mutters half-heartedly.

Then we separate ways and Felix and I head towards our assigned Math classroom. Another boring period that will give me enough time to think.

At least I got myself to feel and act normal around my best friend again.
