There was an awkward silence for a moment as if I just asked something irrelevant to the current vibe. I felt uneasy. Yuki called the waitress and ordered two cups of hot chocolate. She always knew my favorite as well. It slowly began to drizzle and in a blink of an eye, it was raining cats and dogs. The café is the second coziest place I knew that exist on Earth after my couch. I like to come here whenever the weather newscast indicates 80% chance of raining today. I also like to bring my music pad and record new songs.
The table near the window at the furthest row is my hangout place for chilling. I like it because I won't disturb others enjoying their time at this café and the ice cold rain outside that turns the place cold not to mention the air conditioner as well. It's all just perfect. The waitress returned with two cups of hot chocolate on a tray. The piping hot drink never allowed me, in my 10 years of history to this café to control myself.
I thanked the waitress and waited for her to leave before I indulged myself on the hot chocolate. Yuki was still silent.
I felt a sudden change on her expression. The Yuki who looked very serious just now slowly changed.
"HAHAHAHA You was so scared! Look at your face Mi! I can't look it's so funny."
This kid nearly faced her death before her actual death day because of me. She scared me with her sudden mood change.
"Are you on your period? You are high today."
"No but I just wanted to see how would you react if I do something like this."
"Oh so this all was a stupid joke? You planned all this? Ugh whatever it was not funny Yuki! You made me run here immediately after your text message, you also made me not able to enjoy Korean noodles today and when I arrived here, you acted strangely and now you're laughing as if nothing happened."
"Oh my friendue~ don't be mad. I love you. I just wanted to see how you'll react if I did something like this. I'm sorry"
"Apology not accepted"
"Okay my best friendue. Later, we will go and enjoy hot Korean noodles. I promise. It's on me. Okay? Pleasee forgive me"
"Ramen is on the line here. How can I not forgive? Anyhow just for this time only. Please don't do this to me ever again, promise?"
"Promise!"
With that, I enjoyed ramen with Yuki near my house before we went to our respective homes. I was tired after all those walking with my sneakers coming out every now and then. I really needed a new pair or I am going to suffer tomorrow after music class.
I opened the door and I was greeted by a reallyunwanted guest~
