With that, we had our most silence lunch ever. After settling the bills, I joined Jeong Hyun outside the cafe. We were in our work place territory, when this boy next to me just turned towards me, while checking his phone; he said that he needed to pick up something urgently. He left me in the mini crowd of staffs and disappeared in the big crowd on the other side of the road. Lost in words, I was just staring at the crowd hoping to see even the tiniest figure of him but was left hopeless. Without realizing there was a figure behind me. I jumped when the person touched my shoulder.
"Jeez Mi calm down. Are you okay? I don't want to hide things from you but I saw Jeong Hyun leave you just like that. What happened?"
"Oh nothing. I guess he just got a message from PD-nim to get some stuffs."
"Serious? You sure no problem between you two?"
"Yes. Hey we are gonna be late for work. Come on.
"Alright let's go."
"Hey Mi, it's time to go back. You coming or not?"
"Oh you go first Joy. I just got a little bit more profiles to update. I'll go back by myself later."
"Alright then. Goodbye. Take care."
"Goodbye."
By the time I finished all my work, it was already 7:43 pm. I packed all my things and walked to the bus stop at Central Street 21. It was really cold outside despite its only fall now. The bus arrived just on time as I reached the bus stop. I reached the bus stop near my apartment at 8:01. I was freezing cold as my stupid sweater was not helping at all and the weather was unusually cold. Even at a situation like this I could still enjoy the night view of everything. I was taking everything in and waked slowly listening to all the insects' sounds and the sound of my neighborhood. I was crossing the T-junction when I heard a familiar voice. I was shocked at first to hear that voice near my neighborhood at this time of the day. Especially after that one day. I tip toed silently towards the direction of the sound. When I got nearer I heard another voice. A male's. I hid behind a house to see what was going on. If someone saw me at that time they would literally be convinced that I am a thief. I saw two figures. My visions were quite blurry as they were a bit further away from me.
And then I saw a sight I prayed so hard to not to be true.
It was Yuki and I had the wrong timing ever in the world.
JeongHyun and Yuki kissed.
